I thought about using the garden hose on the wigger car when it was below zero, turning it into a block of ice.

 

Great day with the girls.

I took the triplets to Taco Bell and made them give their own orders. They had a picnic lunch on the grass at the high school while the 13 year old had softball practice. We took a tumbling mat, too. They continued tumbling after we got home. I'd say they did about 4 hours of tumbling gymnastics today.

The dogs and I enjoyed about an hour in the swing while the girls were playing.

It doesn't take much to make me happy.

It was nearly perfect; except for the damn neighbors dogs barking the whole hour and a half that we were out there.

 

i just imagined the movie Critters and them tumbling to get away. great simple movies they dont make anymore.

 

i used to do that in high school to people who take my spot near the shop door in the winter (with the shop pressure washer)

I've been having chills for 4 hours. I'm getting damn near exhausted with this.

Black light fixture is up... still need to do some wiring and there's another set of three pendant lamps I need to figure out... They aren't black light but the glass shades are dark purple. These would be reading lamps for that corner. (once there is a bed there.) Both lights will need to be on a separate switch in the same box that is also part of the artwork project. Still tossing ideas around for the actual blacklight artwork. Then I need to build a bed frame....



I've got a line on some acoustic foam for studios that I may cover the front wall with... (another "problem" wall) Not sure about that yet. That stuff is expensive, usually, what I'm looking at are remnants and much cheaper. I don't know how bad they look, or good they might be... Hella cheaper though. The way that front wall is, remnants should be just fine. Compared to what's there anything would be an improvement.

 

I sweat some during the night. Today, I'm not sure if I'm sick or am just feeling my normal when waking up.

Time will tell.

 

We had the police called on us today.

The neighbor was mad that animal control had to come out to her house and deal with her dog today, so she sent the police to our house.

She told them that every time they are outside we shine flashlights on them through the woods. Lie. The officer saw the little light that hubby wears on his ball cap to keep him from stumbling in the yard at night.

She also told them that we had come up to their driveway and fussed at them when her daughter was driving the car telling her that she had to have an adult in the car. Lie. That simply never happened.

She also told them that someone had been on her back deck today and she didn't know who it was (intimating that it was us). Um, it was animal control trying to secure your dogs for you while you were gone.

I'm going to have to get a restraining order on her or something. I already have the criminal trespass warning but I need something to keep her from sending the police to my house for made up lies.

The police officer went back and talked to her after he talked to us but she really doesn't need to be harassing us or the police with this junk.

Doesn't she get a warning after the police figured out it was simply a reaction to you guys calling the animal control on her? I mean here people get a warning if they let the police come over to mainly annoy their neighbours and if it happens more than once they can expect a fine too (if it is clear and verified they abuse the police service/let them ride out for a non issue).
I guess you're not sure what the police concluded after they went back to her?

 

if the dogs were in her back yard/deck why would animal cotrol be called?

 

When I explained to the officer that she was throwing a temper tantrum about animal control coming out after her dog charged me in my yard earlier, the officer left here he said, "I see. Gotcha."

I have no idea what he said to her.

 

I think I remember that you've had quite the problem with her dogs leaving their yard and bothering not just y'all but others in the neighborhood, right? It should be easy enough for animal control (and the police) to look this up.

I've always wondered what the law says to people like her that are obviously using the system to "get back" at people.

It also amazes me when people are able to do that - what she did and does, and gets away with!!! Hell, they (the law and animal control) have refused to help me or even really listen to me when I've had very legitimate concerns and my (old) mother was in on the complaint.



I've known some really mean people that would fix her up good. I know, I know...that's wrong. karma and all that...whatevs

its horrible that a viscous dog is allowed out to charge aerianne....it is a good thing animal control has a system to take care of the problem

 

That really annoys me. If Buddy is out in back barking for more than a few minutes, he gets a warning, if he continues he has to come in the house and he knows it.
The other day the wife and I were laughing because after my warning him to quit down, we could hear him out there making these half-assed muffled barks.

 

I must be extremely slow this afternoon but dang if I can understand what you are trying to say. People like her DO "use the system" as much as they can. It is a good thing that animal control supposedly has a system that is able to take care of the problem; but, apparently this is not consistently happening - them taking care of the problem.

So what is it that I'm supposed to think about carefully? That there is a system to take care of this problem - that Aeri continues to have to deal with on and off???
