today was the first time i wasnt sure mine would start

i cycled the glow plugs twice before cranking ...it cranked longer than usual before firing but it started ...ran awful rough for about 30 seconds then smoothed out...lots of smoke too for first minutes

have to let it warm longer than usual because of the turbo....most turbo wear happens from people not waiting for oil to get warm...and from running hard and quickly shutting down without a short idle to cool at the end of a drive


i know my trucks wont start today so im not even going to try them

 

beer place gave me a free mojo ,, its like alcohol vitamin flavored water.. without the vitamins..

 

Ive one those jump packs, best 50$ investment ever. dead battery no problem. doubt Id get frozen fuel here. only use regular gas, luxury car, I dont think gas makes a difference. i dont even know what kinda engine I have. all I know its not original and super charged whatever the hell that means..

diesel will turn to gel when its too cold (propane is a problem here too when its cold it stays liquid)

the starting problem is because the oil is too thick and of course battery efficiency drops with temps

my car takes 0w40 full synthetic.....i cheaped out on the trucks and buy the regular crap for them

I threw a bit of a curve ball at the band today and recorded a sort of classical/orchestra thing I wrote a long time ago. They've heard me play it for years but still haven't taken the time to learn all of the changes, pauses, etc. So I recorded it during some downtime today. Our producer said he loved it and asked why we never play it as a band. The other guitar player said "He wrote it over a decade ago....the rest of us just haven't got our shit together on it." Well.....there ya go! It's recorded...again!

 

That's good. I want to hear it when they all learn it!

 

I would say hell will freeze over before they learn it but....they really seem to want to do it. But they've said that for years and here we are.

Part of it may be that it's different than what we normally play and I'm probably a little particular about it. It isn't something that everyone just jams on. It's written note for note....from beginning to end. For instance....when I finish one section and slide the final note down, let it ring and then let it go silent....that silence is the end of that part and the beginning of the next part. The silence is silent but it's still a part that needs to be played just as importantly as the other notes. That wasn't put there by accident.

 

I bet they'll like it.

We give each other a lot of shit but you won't find a band that is a tighter group of friends. It's been that way for a lot of years.

cops want to take her to a hospital and shes flipping out on them now , I shown them some vids showing I cant control her anymore someones going to get hurt, shes going to set a fire she saying in the video .. cops might of scared her for a minute but it wont last long ..

 

Ori, you're going to have to let the cops take her next time - for her safety and for yours. Nobody wants something bad to happen.

 

having the cops come to get her into her bedroom and go to bed or sit in the recliner besides sitting in the kitchen with electric burners on for heat, the entire house is well over the 70s she wants continue to sit in there where I actually had to pull the breakers on the 220 ..its fucking bullshit , she makes us all sick with her nonsense .. in and out the kitchen door no wonder is cold in there. lay the fuck down already. every goddamn weekend it seems shes doing something for attention .Im getting a splitting headache from it. never know what shes going to do next, babysitting a grow baby .. shes already set fire to the kitchen once, leaving the kitchen with the burners on. cant be trusted anymore and she just dont get it. if it was gas, wouldnt even have a house by now.
