Ceiling day...


Last acoustic tiles are going up. The larger section of the room has already been done and has several coats of paint. The smaller section got started today and by tonight (hopefully) I'll have at least one coat of paint on that.


After that I make and install faux beams... Then I have to trim the edges all the way around. Beams and trim are cedar color. (Can't afford real cedar for those bits.) The front wall, which is a future project is supposed to be actual cedar siding like the master bedroom has. (I hope... the stuff is pricey)


I need to be able to use this room, It's my main studio room... It's been almost 3 years since I bought this place and I've not been able to actually use this room. I've been off and on working on it, but not actually "living" in it.

one shear bolt gone...auger end bent to hell....worm gear snapped and forced into a horseshoe shape and impeller worm shaft too damaged to reuse...


he says "only got to use it once"....uhmm yeah buddy when you ram it into your wood pile thats probably all youre going to get out of it

 

Did he expect you to fix it for free?

 

Maybe he was moving bricks with it....

 

when i sell something i always say there is no warrantee but that im a much cheaper choice to come back to for repairs

i also pointed out the auger damage and shear bolt damage when it was dropped off (the guy who bought it and dropped it off is not the user its an employee of his that broke it )

 

My son and I went to the house my daughter just moved out of. She met us there and picked up her son who had spent the weekend with his dad and other grandmother.

My son brought home a game table that has air hockey, pool, etc. He also brought home an indoor basket ball goal. The girls will have a blast with that stuff; plus the grandson can play with his stuff when he comes down on school holidays.

I brought alot of stuff home. I got a garden hose, 4 white stacking yard chairs, a box fan, a vacuum cleaner, my beach tent, 3 big framed mirrors, a badmitton set, a kitchen trash can, some wrapping paper, a beach chair, a karaoke machine, a broom, a cooler, lots of clothes hangers, and about 4 ft. of lighter knot I found in the yard.

It felt good to have nice weather and to be able to do stuff outdoors.

 

Yeah, it got up to 33F here so I split up a couple of pieces of Elm stump....


Wait 33F isn't nice, what the fuck was I thinking?
