this is probably the first time in my life ive seen people riding motorcycles after Christmas

got my roof back on the temp shed but im going to add more tarp clips before the snow comes...i really dont want to do that again


the house roof is looking bad lots of shingles flew off...ill probably try and look closer tomorrow ..i hate ladders but i can still go up them way more easier than the owner

we're pretty sure theres an older layer of shingles underneath so hopefully that holds up until summer

We killed the 3rd baby Copperhead out by the car today.

 

How do you kill them, Aeri?

We don't have em around here...

 

Chop off the head.

We use a shovel usually.

You've inspired me to read about Copperheads at length.

 

Well, maybe not at length, but a few articles!

 

They are mean snakes; aggressive.

 

I was going to make a joke about them being short. They aren't very long, lol

 

Yea, noticed that, only between 1-2 feet?

Also must be hard to see, good camouflage.

I don't believe we have any venomous snakes here, and if we do they are so uncommon I wouldn't recognize them. My sister and I used to rummage through the forest and attempt to capture the small snakes that could be found in the underbrush.

 

If the cats didn't bring them up on the carport we'd never see them.

They camouflage very well in the leaves and pine straw.

Most of our front yard is a "natural area". We only keep a small area of grass out by the street.

 

Haven't seen any copperheads here, yet...


At least I don't have to deal with rattlers... Yet!



With this warmer weather they could migrate north just a little bit... I dislike rattlers.

 

I went to go see Star Wars again this afternoon. I had popcorn this time.

nether do I ...ive had the movie on a data card for several days and have no interest in seeing it....took me years to see avatar and it was an awful movie despite everyone saying different...

it is raining here...I have a fire in the woodstove....probably gonna be a lazyday
