i live 30 seconds from the river, can drive a golf ball into it with a pitching wedge.. river life not much what it used to be. I wish. but now me working kick ass pay job maybe just maybe get boat and play on the river more.. asshole army corp of engineers closed most the hot dam spots ....... dont know what its worth amymore in the pools of stagnant waters.. but idk .. not the same it was.. tho some pretty relaxing spots still..

 

my municipality has the most lakes of any other municipality in Canada

 

I live on the famous three rivers of pissburgh .. think they would do more to make them attractive to boaters..

 

Ok...I think I've come to a new weekend limit. I never thought I would see this day but...I've had a relatively kid-free weekend. I can not drink, fuck or boat more than I have this weekend. That's it. I'm done and worn out. I must be getting old.

 

I have been a lazy ass all weekend.

I've got a Huge Pile of stuff to do, and one reason I'm posting this is so I will get stuff done this coming week.

Goodnightalive I think I'm just now getting over being worked like a plow mule for McD's.

Time to work for The Mother and myself now.

Too bad it only pays about $20 a week.

 

im to bitchy on the weekends.. bitch wants to bitch at me about the police and I just dont want to hear it.. now Im home getting more drunk before I have to get up earily for the work.. and all I hear all weekend is about some other work.. really shut the fuck up about your job a motherfuckers job that will never invoice the NTSB or the FBfucking I... just shut the fuck up about hospital billing..

Wiz, you just reminded me of some fun days in my past. I would have on a swimsuit and some cut offs though...usually.

I know I'm (getting) old, and I find I quite like it.

My body isn't always so thrilled with it...but hey, its all good.

The rest of the wet carpet under the bed was smelly. I've got all the carpet out except for the closet which is way across the room from the wet areas.

I'm going to smoke a cigarette and then get the pad out of the house. Then I have to put the bed back together. which goes a little something like this:

Coloring your own hair is a pain in the ass, but well worth it if you know what you're doing.

It would cost me upward's of $150 to get done what I do for myself for the cost of the product - around $10.

It occurred to me today that my training method is probably pretty aggravating at times to those being trained. I will let them get as aggravated as possible on purpose before telling them to come down and talk to me. I've already told them this shit a number of times in prior weeks/months, they should be watching and learning on the ground and they will always still go up there and do dumb shit. So I let them (never actually putting them or property in much danger, of course) and I watch from the ground thinking...every 30-60 seconds..."What the fuck are thinking up there?!!"

So I put them up there and don't remind them of what they've been told before. If they remember...great. If not....then they have a rough day. Then, when I bring them down to tell them how to fix whatever is going on....I don't have to tell them why. They already know why because they just experienced it. Then they see that the proper way is much easier and they probably won't have to be told again. Experience is an effective teacher.

Sometimes it makes me laugh a little. I'm such a dick.

 

Today, I found out that the young man I was engaged to, in my senior year of high school, passed away 10 years ago.

That makes me feel rather like shit.
