If you do not have everything backed up, the update may not be seamless......files, photos, etc...could be lost......Windows 10 is officially coming out in the autumn and if there are any kinks, they will be worked out then and there may be other things added in the autumn.

I've an annoying sinus/ear thing going on. Just enough to cause annoying ear pain, especially at night, and to drain the life out of me. I've been dragging around today trying to figure out why I'm so drained. I think that's it.

The triplets got their new eyeglasses today. They always love picking them up.

I was pretty excited a while back when I was able to get tickets to see Tommy Emmanuel along with meet and greet passes, a free signed CD and a book with his music in it. Well....now it looks like it's his Christmas tour. This should be swell. I might not even go now.

I'm considering calling or emailing the organization that I donated to in order to get the tickets. When they were trying to raise money, they were playing videos of him playing some seriously badass Beatles stuff and his own music. To be fair, they never said that's the type of concert it will be but they definitely implied it ("If you like what you're hearing.....) and they certainly never said "Oh by the way....we know he's kicking ass on these songs right now but when you see him he will be playing Away In A Fucking Manger!"

I'm not going to ask for my money back but I think they should know that this kind of thing should be avoided in the future if they expect members/sustaining members to not feel mislead.

And I don't give one tiny shit about the book and CD if it's Christmas music.

Yeah,in spite of at least the 10 rain drops that fell here, its dry as a bone.

 

There are holes in the back yard that range in size from quarter to half-dollar size, some places beginning to come together and almost sink in.

WTH is happening back there...we've had ground yellow jackets (I think...whatever buzzing, stinging flying insect lives in the ground) found back there but that was in a totally different place and somehow looked different than this. a number of holes this is... the yellow jacket (or whatever) hole was alone.

I don't even know what I'd do with a regular internet (not dial-up) and the ability to post pictures. lol

Emailing pictures is, rather was the best I can/could do and I can barely figure how to stay on one site with this mofo anus laptop computer. I could do it from my beloved dinosaur computer that continues to sit where ever, waiting on the boy to figure out its problem. But I still couldn't post pics from the dinosaur. I don't even know how to get pictures (with a card reader) loaded on this shitass computer. gad...I know. I could take pics of myself right now though. godhelpusall

but um...no conceivable way to post pics without me harrassing somebody here in r/l to help. lol

 

Plan B: Get your Polaroid out>snap some pics>send them to me in the regular mail and I'll post them for you.

It's about to seriously storm here yet again. Huge storms today in my neck of the woods. It the eerie dark orange right now that feels almost like and orange night. Shit loads of lightning and thunder.

I had this idea this evening to come up with a Beatles set and book ourselves under a different name. We already have at least half the songs so it wouldn't take too much work to learn a few more. Anyway, I brought it to my band mates and someone said we could call ourselves The Buttholes. I said "Maybe The Beavis's". I think we decided on "The Beatoffs".
