One of the first things I did was swap out the back tires... Part of the plan. (see attachments)

When I got it there was a set of 22X9.50 tires on the back... Fairly new, but an inch shorter than factory. So I went out and got a set of good condition used 24X10.50 that I had tracked down from an old eBay listing... That's the size on the 3000 series. This will give me more ground clearance over the factory setup. More width too....

The 22X9.50's will go on the other Cub Cadet, which does the same thing there, the factory tires on it are 20X8.50.... Part of the plan for it, going back to when I bought it was larger tires. I could, and might bolt these right on, but I have a different set of wheels too.

The tires on the left in both photos are the up-sized units.

EDIT: Still need to sort out front tires and Slime them all...

So a while back I was telling you guys about the stained glass piece in front of my house. I couldn't get the pics to post because they were too big. I decided to take one this evening when it was a bit darker and see what would happen. You can see the glass but it's too dark to see the flowers, etc. The light really isn't that bright though. It's more of a mellow, yellow sunset. It's just really bright in the pic for some reason. Phone pic.

Anyway....there it is. Custom glass that my wife made...installed by me into the porch I built a couple of few years ago.

Edit to say...the little bit of light coming from the bottom is from the access I left to change the bulbs.

Both are Hydro rear axles... 2166 is an aluminium case and the new GT2544 is iron case.

My wife actually has some much better pics of the glass but they've been posted elsewhere. There are maybe 8-10 people on HF who I feel like I'm pretty comfortable friends with (mostly people who post in this thread). I wouldn't mind you guys seeing pics that could traced back to my actual identity but the possibly thousands of lurkers.....I'd rather just post pics that went from my phone to my computer.

But it is a really unique addition to a house IMO.

Now that I think about it.....I guess I have posted music related things that could be tracked back to me because of the band name but my real name isn't associated with the band in a general sense. Maybe I really am just paranoid.

I haven't been to sleep at all last night and got up around 10 yesterday morning.

I want to go sharpen stupid dull ass garden hedges but don't have/can't find my whet stone to sharpen them.

That lawn mower won't go everywhere.

Dear Dog I hate to mow.

I'm always scared somethings gonne get me or I'm gonna see and step on something. :yikes:

The other year I was pulling up ivy and vinca to keep an open path to and over all the graves at the pet cemetary...and a snake ran across as I was bending over.

That is not condusive to making me want to work out there until freakin fall.

Just back from an early morning walk at the cemetery. (It is predicted to be very hot today.) As I was starting to walk back to the car I found a 8-9 inch long black feather. A little bit farther I found a ten dollar bill. I guess it pays to look at the ground from time to time.

I have had both of my hips replaced and have to look where I am walking especially if I am on uneven ground. Last money I found was about a month ago. I found a 1974 Kennedy half dollar. Most I have ever found walking was a 20 dollar bill.

    I found $90 once, when I was a teenager.

I could use that right about now.

    You girls and snakes! :)

A storm broke a decent amount out of the top of our Redbud tree in the backyard this morning. Luckily, I think I can fix it. It might just look a little funny until it fills in the void. There is still a nice center lead that can become the dominant stem.

The Redbud I planted last year in the wildflower/herb garden right behind the house was just a stick with about 5-6 leaves. Now it's over 3 feet around and just over 2 feet tall.
