I'm teaching some kids around my apartment lethwei. With their parents permission obviously. I could see so many lawsuits comming out of that. I should probably start charging their parents.
I was considering learning taikwando when I was in high school, but then I saw what the academy charged... like 100$ per lesson... shite.
Most martial arts schools are overpriced, and the instructions are nothing but katas. (move sets) The only good thing about them is if they allow any sort of sparring. Then you'll learn some strategy. I was a brown belt in TKD when I quit because the Nunez guy who runs the MA gigs in my hometown didn't like me taking boxing. Then when I was 16 took up Lethwei (or Muay Thai if you prefer.) Never looked back. Except when I went through a couple alcohol fuled self destructive phases.
Wondering y people ask me everyday what nationality I am? I'm so ready for a different conversation breaker guys...........
I dont think so, although sometimes peoples reactions would suggest they are. But i only eer stand for things that are good for people. I love people...im not racist or sexist or anything like that...they just dislike the fact that my ideas dont match their own
my butt hurts from sitting/laying around so much today but I can't exactly stand up and talk a walk with my stupid ankle
I grew up in Longwood. Had a few close calls with twisters. Seen one touch down in the Altamonte Mall parking lot.
It was almost 4 in the mornin'... all I saw were dreeeeeams. Haha, one landed in the Altamonte Mall? That's hilarious I had some twister experiences in Arkansas, yet nothing major... I have gone through my fair share of hurricanes though... Mitch in Honduras was a biggon! Longwood is a very chill place, I work in a greenhouse here on Kelly Park rd. and make deliveries there a bunch of times. All American professional plant growers seem to be stoners. I can only imagine what's in that one small greenhouse every damn company has that's always sealed off
