I just noticed a couple days ago that now as soon as windows loads, and no matter how many processes I stop, whenever I hit ctrl-alt-del it shows that 110 megs of ram are being used up (out of 256). It used to be at (I think) about 0. Oh and as far as I can tell I'm virus/spyware free. I did recently install a new program and it could have started happening around this time but I'm not sure. I tried uninstalling it but the problem's still there. Maybe I need to fix my registry if that's the prob.?
i also had this problem...but found out it was my onboard graphics card using the missing ram..... 32mb out of 512mb
