lol, me and my m8's drive out for a few hours, hike a few more with a few tents and our hydro packs, find a place to camp for a few days and live off the land. do it about 5 - 6 times a year. Sounds like a mini gathering. Any way, any "Gatherings" in Australia?

 

the world gathering was in tazmanua few years back nunbun and sydney have a fairly active rainbow community
and yea theres gatherings in australia
most countries except north asnd south america have em failrly rarely, well except isreal wich swore to have 1 every year till theres peace in the mid east
eirope as a continent has 1 every year but ina different country each time
nternational gatherings are generaly small compared to a us national, and maybe barely the size of a us regional
usa has the big national in july, and smaller reguionals virtualy all year long
canada mexico and south america i think have 2-3 or so a year

internationaly like irelands had 2 maybe 3 russua the same theres 1 comming up in ukraine

if u do a lil research u can find em all over the world but u may bhave to wait a long tume for 1 to come to you, so its always best to go to the nearest 1 to you

in the us most ppl waiut years and years for 1 to come to theyre state so muss out on so many, but if your willing to travel long distances for em theyre absolitely wotrth the trip..no matter how fasr u gotta go

if u are able you shouldd try yo ake the national in usa at least once since thats the biggest and where it all began

for international and world gatherings just google tainbow family (country) i think www.worldgathering.org is the main worldgathering site..theres thousands of other pages scattered all over the world the keywords rainbow family of living light or rainbow gathering should get u the most relevant pages add a local city name ot state or region to find more local stuff going on
theres also the alt.gathering.tainbow newsgroup the rainbow family forum right here and a few thousand yahoo groups and myspace pages..many many youtube vids and other vids scattered all obver the place
thousands of news articles some redicuplouse most generaly possitive but a few are rediculously close minded
oh aparantly i was on the news in moscow from last years gathering...and in high times from matbe the wesdt virginia 1? i dunno a freind found me in hightimes though..lol

the discovery channel even did a lil dicumentary in wyoming but it sucked u could tell they only spent a few hours there and were clueless what they were witnessing

uk hads had a FEW MOST RECENT THAT I CAN FOND WAS 2 YEARS AGO..AS I UNDERSTAND IT THOUGH IN UK its ilegal to gather for peacefil purposes
at least thats what ive heard
but then again thers been gatherings in countries with almost no freedoms and torn by wars

waitting for a gathering to come to you though will mean missing out on so mamy opportunities..u gotta get off your ass and go

in eirope they have the rainbow peace caravan that travels together acrodss several countries to get to rainbow i believe iu just read that the caravan for this years china world gathering started in russia

in the usa, some people literaly walk across the country leaving 1 gathering and hiking the mountain trails and back roads to the next years gathering..some ride theyre bokes
at least 1 guy goes by kmule driven covered wagon pulled by a team of 40 mules

and then theres the gut in that vid i posted i believe his contraption is called a gitalong or somnething
if you watch that vid all the way through, somewhere in the middle you'll see a crazy cart thing thats ingenius he lives in it and travels the country, its perfectly ballanced so he skips and hops his way actoss the country with each hop it lefts him 15 feet off the ground then he swings his weight forward and it brings hm down and he bouncers off again..each hop takes him forward maybe 20 feet or so..so he just kinda bounces along with amazing efficiencey..driven just buy the force of swinging his legs forward then bouncing off the ground
in cali there was a guy who built a solar powered bike train kitchen..was a trike bike (pedakl to 15 mph solar power to 45 mph) that pulled 3 trailers and a huge parabolic solar oven
im kinda rambling
my point was just that getting theres 1/2 the adventure
anfd even if u gotta walk 2000 miles and take a fullk year to get there its worth the journey

Nope, Michigan was my first! Wasn't Michigan 2002? Hah, maybe it has been longer. I don't even know anymore. hehe
