As for my opinion on the whole matter... I've seen a bit of this on tv lately (although not much as I haven't been watching too much tv, esp. the news- a mixture of being outside/doing things more....as well as being so annoyed by the plane coverage that I almost never turn on the news)--and my opinion (personally) is, yea, the things the guy said are obviously fucked up and wacky. I wouldn't say I'm outraged though because I don't follow basketball or know the guy, so, whatever. I do think he got what he deserved though and I don't feel bad for him in the least. (follow rest of this posting below for further opinion)..

And on that note- like I said, what he said was fucked up and doesn't make me HAPPY to hear. But me personally...since I don't follow basketball or know the guy (so he don't mean shit to me), I care more about people I run into in real life... when I hear people in person say fucked up things it does bother me a lot (not that I hear racist things very often but it has happened and does bother me a lot when I know the person or even when they're standing right in front of me)... but this guy (Sterling) don't mean shit to me.

No you are right. About 75% of the time you don't look like a successful troll, you just think you do. You should practice more.
