Kyuss is a quintessential 90's rockband for some bands I like, but not for most people, bands and genres that people on this forums like, I reckon.

I could do without them just fine.

Um.. what about Bush? I voted for Alice in Chains. I would have voted for Nirvana, but I honestly liked AIC better. Live is another great band and they are still around! I am also glad Green Day is still around, but they are more punk rock.

But Kyuss was so unheard of.....they still pretty much are. I love Kyuss and wish John Garcia didn't hate the rest of his band so much, but shit happens. Either way, yes, Kyuss shold have been on that list with alot of other bands, but hey. I didn't make it.

I voted for "Alice In Chains". But I wonder why they are forgotten now. When Layne died in April 2003 it was mentioned on the news somehow by the way. I'm so happy that "Alice in Chains" were included in that poll! But what about the other two Seattle bands - "Pearl Jam" and "Soundgarden"?

*note: polls created by alice_d_millionaire are subject to be in many ways incomplete, as the author is quite unsure of everyone's knowledge of music... and maybe he just doesnt like some o the shit:p*

man, its just hard to gauge whether or not a band is mainstream enough to garner recognition, and the reason pearl jam and soundgarden werent on there is because i only had so much room.

Why are British bands missing? You Americans should listen to some 90s Alt Rock from the UK.
