Anyone know how effective transdermal absorption of LSD is? Seems to have been pretty effective for Hoffman in a labatory setting so I assume it is but I've heard mixed opinions and wondering if anyone has tried it?
I believe David Nichols has said that he does not believe it is possible. He does not understand why Hoffman would have gotten the results he did because in his experience and his graduate students it's not active that way it has to be oral. But then there is a story from the DEA which if you want to believe it says they once busted a lab and the LSD was so thick in the air you tripped just being there so they needed to wear chemical hazed gear to clean it up. Of course this is the same DEA I see doing that with weed related things so maybe they are not the brightest. I can't say personally but I know plenty of people who have stories of tripping from the skin. I can see how it would work when the LSD is in the right state like liquid.
