okay for the spoon the focal point (where the light would be right side up) is at the miniscous of the spoon, the thing is since the spoon goes past this so does the light and continues in a linear fashion, basicly the light from the top of your face and the light from the bottom of your face intersect and cross a similar thing happens in your eye, all images actually land on your retina upside down, but your brain turns them right side up automatically (which leads me to the question what is the disorder where the brain doesn't fix that? you know someone somewhere has it) so basicly at that point of intersection the whole thing gets flipped..... it's because it's a parabola yes..... and if you squished the spoon yes indeed it would be a normal reflection.....
i have a another one - why do we have eyebrow's? and why are animals different colours i know its in the gene's but why? for what reason?
So that sweat does not go into our eyes.. from our caveman days. So they blend into the environment.. and do't get killed by there predators.. there is a word for it.. can't remember at this time
Because they need to blend in to survive, they evolved that way. If all the predators were wearing polka dots and plaid, they'd never catch any food.
more question's for you all to answer!!!!!!!!!! 1 . why do i have lots of little teeth, why not one big one? with one root etc. 2 . why do cat's have tail's? i know they are for balance but minx cat's dont have them, and other animals live without tails quite happily?
1. because your teeth wear out and replace, you have 2 pairs, it enables more effiecient chewing, slower spread of infection, easier replacement, (think sharks) the smaller size creates greater overall surface area and I'm certain that helps somehow 2. because it makes them better hunters, most animals without tails don't hunt for a living wombats eat grass, no tail, rabbits eat grains, small tail, the herbivores w\ tails either have an alternative reason that roots from balance usually (kangaroos could not run at all without their tail) or a completly different reason entirely (horses for fly repellent)
good answers and they all made sense to me. i cant think of any more questions yet, but dont worry i will think of some good one's while at college lol.
