wondering about making a homemade version of that gel people recommend from stores , is it as simple as cutting and squeezing the gel of the leaf( i have a plant) and applying it to your head lol or do you mix it with sumit

and do i apply it after wash while my hairs still damp or wait till im completely dry ( only ask about this because i read somewhere to apply when semi wet)
and does it wash out easily?

i love the messyness but ive been in and out of court recently XD and who knows being a bit more presentable might give me some cred >_< these geezers so judgemental here haha

( if it matters dreads are around 4months old)

don't worry about what other people think of your hair! just live with a birds nest for the first year

either that or just buy the stuff... way easier

If you have the plant, its much better than using the storebought gel. Depending on your hair length or thickness you can just use one or two leaves. Take a knife and slice down the middle and scrape the gel off into a bowl.

Its better to have your hair already damp, itll help with the consistency of it. I usually leave it in for a few minutes and then rinse very well. Its very light and it wont leave your hair gooey or messy. Good luck in court :)

I personally would water it down a tad bc it can be a lot stickier coming straight from the plant.
