Questions About Aliens

I have some questions about aliens which I'd like some answers to from those of you in the know?

1) do aliens wear clothes?

2) do aliens go on the Internet?

3) do aliens bring an identifying passport when they travel?


4) What resources did aliens lack on their planet to make them want to travel space?


5) Do aliens dream?

 

I'll answer in relation to "significantly more advanced beings".
(Aliens COULD also be only slightly more advanced).

1)Clothing would be more like a nano-level machine. And could therefore quickly adapt to environments - eg heat, vacuum etc.

Alternatively, their skin could even be genetically modified to act as a protective layer eg against radiation and vacuums etc.
Hence the thick skin and thick lense like eyes we see in pictures

2) Advanced aliens could have some sort of "bridge" between their minds and the Net. Or simply another type of device they could control with their minds. They could bypass all our crude security systems and probably use AI (linked to their own minds) to search thro it for whatever they want.

3)Nope. Identification is a function of knowledge. Their knowledge is advanced, so their own DNA/electromagneticsignature etc would be ID enough.

4) They wouldn't lack a resources. Anything they want could be generated, or found closer to home.
Visiting us would be some sort of holiday, a school trip, or their equivalent of one of our "nature programmes", or a type of "pet breeding" programme/similar.

Or if they're bastards, they could enslave whatever our "life essence"/soul is.

They certainly don't need our water or minerals.

5)Well cats, dogs, pigs and the like all dream. Its part of the subconsicous/conscious brain integration.
So it would be illogical to think they wouldn't.

2) only if it's free at the library
3) no, they have the almighty "Green Card", but they are all fake.
4) work, clean water, opportunity
5) yup, about making across the border without getting shot by some hillbilly redneck.

 

Informative answers... More questions:

6) How did aliens become so advanced if the majority of their time is spent observing other species?

7) Do aliens have sex to reproduce? Or do they just probe each other and other species?

8) How do aliens learn to fly their spaceships?

 

They're most likely interdimensional beings and aren't bent to the rules of our 3d existence. They're on the 4th or 5th dimension.

 

We aren't allowed to answer your questions... Intergalactic law and all that.

There are aliens, but they do not visit us here.
Any aliens with the ability to travel to Earth would have previously sent out something similar to Von Neumann machines, self-replicating themself throughout the galaxy in advance of the aliens building big spaceships in which to travel anywhere far from home. Such machines would reach Earth a long time before the aliens.

but i really think the most important thing, that people who try to make some big woowoo about people who's species evolved on on worlds circling other suns, which is the kind of aliens that are of interest here, really, don't even have appearance in common from world to another. evolution works the way it does, indipendently on every world with conditions suitable for it to evolve.

2> people who have ships to transverse space, most likely have their own sorts of internet on their own worlds. if they were on or near ours, could they tap into and use ours? almost certainly. would they be likely to? not bloody likely, considering their incentives to keep a low profile

3> which kind of "aliens" are we talking about here? presumably people traveling to planets other then their own, which are also advanced enough to travel to each other's, most likely carry some form of personal identification. cultural diversity between worlds being so extreme though, that this might not be universally recognizable.

4> in the civilized universe, travelling between worlds has almost never anything to do with resources of their home worlds, nor of worlds they visit or migrate to. as with the more plebian sort of 'alien', it is much the same as ourselves visiting other countries. undoubtedly there are those who come seruptitiously to earth, to study the ignorant natives.

5> most if not all, chordate life forms, sapient or not, in some sense dream. while no one thing can be said to be entirely universal, this is the most likely to come the closest to it.

part of our own growing up as a species, is to get it through our thick heads, that there is nothing wierd, bizaar or mysterious, about sapient life, evolving on the planets of other suns, and that doing so, those of each world, are equally strange of appearance, to those of every other.

cultures and physical forms evolve uniquely, but sapience is sapience.
