Questioning Everything Is Being Responsible

so why is it, that some people act like i'm trying to offend or condemn them, when i ask simple honest questions?

 

Because in todays' society everyone is 'right' and it is offending to them for someone to think that 'they' may be wrong.

Participation awards to safe rooms to overly pretentious radicals thinking the key to freedom is to push their own agenda onto others and crying racism when it doesn't go their way.

Questioning everything is too much work for most people. It's easier to just believe everything you're told, because thinking takes away from the time a person might otherwise spend watching television or obsessing over sports.

 

Some people just question everything like that's all their capable of. If the answer is obvious then there shouldn't be any questions.

 

I agree and question everything and play devils advocate on both sides of the fence. Probably why I annoy the fuck out some of the more stringent and dogmatic members here..LOL




on another note, everyone that has replied thus far has done so exactly as I imagined they would, including myself...

They have been conditioned to NOT QUESTION ANYTHING and blindly believe what they are told...... THEY EXPECT YOU TO DO THE SAME!!

 

To question things is to exercise critical intelligence. And I think that's the problem. Some people just don't seem to operate on that level. If you rock their boat, they take offence. Even if what is said is not meant to be directed at them personally.
