I ask questions on here a lot and I figured a question thread for general use might be good for the future. My question today is it safe to slowly push down the plunger when IVing. I mean slow as in the course of over 15 minutes to an hour. Is there any risk of the blood congealing and pushing in a clot? I must be one of the few who does not prefer a "rush" when using using any drug.

ha! nice i would love to have a coke and heroin IV set up like that with control buttons. i would surely become a shell of my former self. Ugh. fuck it.

To the OP threads like this often become to general.

To your original question, I wouldnt leave it in there for an hour, moving the needle around for all that time in your vein, especially insulin syringes, arent really supposed to be left in like that. Even just for reasons of reducing injection site infection.

    Any more questions?

Hell yeah. Or one of those Morphine pump machines you control yourself.
