That was beautiful bud!-You know we as men are taught to fight hard and make as much as possible-Thats what it was in my family anyway-We were never taught other values much-not near enough and I believe this is alot of the problems today-False values-I accidently landed on the tv show-Newport Beach the REAL OC- tonight-what a bunch of crap and such a sad indictment of the way we are as a people-Rich kids with million dollar homes bickering about nothing!-With a world full of starving people and our brothers and sister dying left in right in Iraq' this stupid Fox has to show this stuff-amazing!-Rick-I lost both my folks and my only brother and it was substance abuse did it-I sympathise with you about the loss of your father-It is very hard to lose parents-thats why we need to tell them we love them now -while they are here-cuz-hopefully we see them again but who knows right?-We are still waiting to hear back from Houidini!-What happened there-?-I do believe in God and I now believe due to recent events that the Bible is actually a true fortelling of Earth-I have spent maybe 5 hrs. in church in my life. but after the things I have seen and my own miracle recovery from the Dark side of drugs and alki; I do believe-I posted a great song lyric under the thread The things I would do different-Living Days --good luck to you and be easy on your woman-your lucky to have one-I ran off all mine with bad behaviour-lol-peace-Rob

well i read alotta this thread, but there was toomuch toread at once when tired soi'll comed back another time but i wanted to put in my 2 cents whatever 2 cents is worth these days

what i think anyways.. i'm not so sure about the question of the soul or what happens after death
well 1 part of what i belive..i know is truth..the other part just makes sence tome

we have our body..and our mind..our conceisness..our thoughts
i believe theres a collective conceisness in the universe that we have the ability to tap into while alive toa certain extent..its the source of true wisdom
when we die our conceisness becomes a part of this collective conceisness
but at the same time our bodies have a purpose as well
you may think its depressing & all, but ilook at it as our real purpose (at least our purpose for having a body that dies) and that is to be worm food
life recycles life
from our bodies food grows for many millions of critters who eat eachother & grow & die & feed others
being a part of the food chain is being a part of life itself
most people have the arrogance to believe we are the top of the food chain, but the food chainsa cycle so the top is really the bottom

soin short, our thoughts go on as part of a greatter conceisness..a part of the universe itself..& our bodies goon as life giving nutrients.. or as part of life itself

we never cease tobe, we only change forms

which fits right intothe scientific princaple that matter and energy can be neither created norr destroyed only changes form

at least that makes sence to me
