Excuse me fi i seem negative, but i don't agree with all kinds of points system, it drives all about a popularity contest, i think. I know this web is made by people form the states, and all these systems based on points are much according to their culture, and it's so pitiful that we have to catch their culture always and always again, we're different, we can make thing different, come on, let's forget about points, just let's try to know ourselves.

Got one for my poetry! That really made me smile.
And another for being anti-racistic...well that's ok, but it didn't made smile, like the poetry one did.

I guess that's the best things, always having 10 points but getting annonymus (sp?) comments, by which one can improve their posts.

Thanks to Kier I got another ... but they're all black and I'm still on ten. What do you need to do to get them working? Why do they work for some people and not others?

 

Well, I really don't know why it works for some people and not others... it seems like it depends on who gives it to you and when, I don't know!

Anyways, kier, don't worry, you probably got the "you must spread some rep. around before giving it again to this user" thing... hey, it doesn't matter, I don't care abut my reputation, I just wanna give some points to those who deserve it

Anyways, I don't think that the point of the reputation system was popularity contest... I think that it's just a way of showing people that you agree/disagree with them, people like Skip aren't the type of people ho care for popularity shit and such...

But I also agree that we shouldn't take it so seriously, and let things be...

 

Perhaps it would be better if instead of these points, we could just anonymously comment on each other if we wanted (that's what it does to me anyways, and I think it's the best way, really!)?
