You make no sense and wont stand on one position.

First you claim he was a Christian (as if that has anything to do with Christianity as a whole), I produce a statement of him saying he wants to eliminate Christianity slowly, so no one realizes what is happening, and now you say that's the truth.

    well which is it?

For a christian, that is not the truth. Why would they want to do away with their own religion? contradict yourself much?

Christianity has produced more monsters? Can you accurately back that up?

P.S. I'll take the "junior" as a compliment.

I read the quote for what it was. You should do the same.

A christian is someone who follows the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Where did Jesus preach about creating a race of superman, world domination, and genocide?

And why do you continuosly judge all Christians on negative parts of it's history? christianity, just as everything else, has both it's good and bad.
If all Christians are inherently evil because of some shady parts of the history of their religion, then mankind as a whole species has a lot to account for, doesn't it?

    Your logic, not mine.

In what way have I even insinuated that Hitler was a good man?

Im simply at odds with you applying the deeds of one man to all Christians world-wide.

Even all of those examples still aren't applicable to all Christians.

So should I look at my religion for what it is, or what it was meant to be?

Why do you single out Christianity anyways? Why not lump all religion into this catagory, because surely acts of violence have been committed in the names of all Gods. But is that the point of religion? To be a murderous cult? No, and I think you no better.

If anyone has blinders, it's you. Again and again, you harp on the negative aspects of Christianity, and never recognize any of the positive.

so, what is your definition of what it was meant to be?

how does the negative far outweigh the positive?

right. and Im sure our answers would vary. but I asked you because I wanted to know what YOU thought, not what I thought, pops.

    review

You naming everything bad you can think of about christianity and then saying the negative far outweights the positive.

It's kind of hard to see something when you dont even look. Kind of one-sided too.

FUA, in all fairness (and I'm an atheist myself) , you can't use the Hitler analogy, by the same merit, Mao and Stalin were perfect examples of atheism and they both killed more than Hitler.

I don't believe abolishing religion will do anything other than oppress people, people should be free to believe whatever the fuck they want, so long as they keep it to themselves. I think when people enforce their religious beliefs on their children, that's a form of abuse. My 'rents are nice, liberal Anglican protestants, and they let me be an atheist (they went through a faze of saying I was 'agnostic', but gave up on it). That's the way it should be. Organised religion is exploitative, but it can do plenty of good too.

Ah ok, thought you were trying to blame christianity for Hitler.

I dont understand why you are always on the defensive. How can I be dancing when I asked you?

It's really simple. If you dont want to answer it, then just say you dont for w/e reason.

I was just curious as to what you thought.

I call them as I see them. And what I see is you evading.

You never asked me. I made a statement about what christianity intended and you said that would depend on a subjective definition of what one thought it intended (post 34). Clearly not a question addressed to me, or anyone else for that matter. A general statement.

Then, I clearly asked you specifically what your defintion of what you thought it was meant to be was (post 35), which you have refused to answer for some odd reason.

what is highly doubtful and laughable is also apparently true.

come on fedup. man up. either say you refuse to answer, or just answer already. at any rate, stop trying to spin it back on me.
