alrighty.. heres the dealio new years eve, i took a xanax, just for the hell of it... i didnt snort it, i just chewed it up and swallowed it.. and nothing really seemed to happen... but it was odd.... my brother gave me some pot and put it in my bf's jacket which i was wearing... and then i lost it.. like i seriously couldnt find it, and i was freaking out about it.. i searched in the jacket pockets for like 45 minutes, untill i FINALLY found it in the little secret pocket thingy.. and then i was fine.. but it seemed like i was freaking out... i dunno... anyways... but it didnt really seem like anything out of the ordinary.. alright but the next day i was in the shower, and just stoof started getting WEIRD.. like i could feel each individual droplet of water on me... and my eyelids were REALLY REALLY heavy and i could just stare off into space and 5 seconds seemed like an hour... was the last part me finally reacting to the xanax?? or was it just because i was tired (because i didnt get much sleep that night)? i was just thinking about new years and the xanax and stuff, so i decided to ask... thank ya!
humm I dont know about that, how many mg was the xanax? And you freaking out might of been because it was WEED and it was important, I would be freaking out too lol. And for the next day thing I dont think the xanax was just kicking in but it depends when you took it and how much food you had in your stomach, so you would need to explain more for me to help you on this one.
yeh - i'd just be freaking out cause it was weed, lol. xanax doesnt take that long to kick in. as oOflyeyesOo said, it depends what mg dosage you took. was it a blue pill? (most common) unless youve had a past experience with xanax, you dont really know what to expect. the first time i took xanax i took 1.5mgs and felt 'nothing' as you said. recently ive taken up the 'habit' and now even 1mg soothes me - not quite like 2mgs, tho. try it again - dont smoke or drink. dont chew it or snort it - thats all BS. first find out what mg the pills you can get a hold of are, then take 2mgs. that should be plenty seeing as you have no tolerance. if you really feel like you 'need' mroe just take 1 more mg. if you take too much before you know how to react you'll end up a slurred talking, clumsy dum dum - lol.
it wouldnt effect you the next day xanax's half life is way to short unless you took it late the mean plasma elimination half-life of alprazolam has been found to be about 11.2 hours in healthy adults
