I don’t find this odd at all. A woman body will change with age and hormones. Don’t stress over it. Go with it and enjoy the ride. My wife will tighten up during a explosive orgasm(Big “O”) and then loosen up as she is coming down. I let her relax and then she is a bit loose. It’s all good. We are a senior couple and have sex a lot for our health.

After an intense orgasm she may be going into totally relaxation phase which makes he vaginal walls loose tone. During sexual excitement the vaginal walls are really in tone.
