Sydney has the highest cost of living, Brisbane's pretty bad too but better than the Gold Coast or Surfers. Melbourne's next expensive, and Adelaide is (I think)the cheapest. For example I was living in a 3br house 10 minutes from Adelaide city and paying $140/week rent. I payed the same amount of rent in a comparable house in Melbourne, but was an hour from the city. Food and public transport are cheaper in Adelaide too. If you're looking for hippies go to Nimbin. www.nimbinaustralia.com If you like weed, come for the Mardi Grass, first weekend in May.
As well as NE NSW -not just Nimbin- hippies are also found in numbers around the Castlemaine -Guildford- Hepburn Springs area. Also in East Gippsland. The reason so many people want to live in NE NSW is that it has the perfect climate.
haha... i'm in adelaide. not a huge beer drinker, i just like coopers a lot oh, yeah and adelaide is a pretty cheap city to live in. i'm only 10 mins from the city and pay $110 pw for a 2 bedroom HOUSE. hehe.. but if u really wanna live cheap, just move to the northern suburbs
I do enough reading man, I'm doing enough english to qualify as a double english majors student and Ihave a fuckload of sociology and politics to read, I mean it took you like 4 or five posts to write it what is it? A thesis?
LOL, don't worry about it hun. I'm obviously dealing with the wrong people. However it's more poignant than any political or sociology text books you may be reading. Anyway, it has been removed. BTW - you're extremely pretty. Good luck with uni!!! LOL - as for the assertion that it's a thesis. The last thesis I did was some 10 years ago as an honours prerequisite. It was gene related and slightly more thorough than the deleted posts, which took approx. an hour to compile.
