I can't believe you would start a thread saying that your friend died in a plane crash. Then when budman was the only one to have the balls to admit what really happened you don't say a damn thing. Now you expect us to fucking help you out? You're a little fucking shit. Enjoy probation because it's coming no matter what you heard Matlock say on TV. Do you have any morals whatsoever?

I have no sympathy for you with one exception: I'm sorry that you are going to get kicked out of school as this is now going to cripple your future. It's amazing how laws which are supposed to "protect" you from "dangerous drugs" can end up doing more harm to your life than the drug itself. American politicians are a joke.

Yeah man, I think you're screwed. First, you shouldn't have even taken it out of your pocket cuz a cop can't just randomly search you. But since you admitted to it, you're in a bad way. The only hope here is since he never read you your rights yet arrested you (which is weird, since he didnt take you to the station or anything...), and that he lied to get you to admit it was yours, you might be able to get the charges dropped. I wouldn't count on it tho.

 

you can bassically get any charges dropped for what ever reason as long as you have a bunch of money and a good lawyer. I know it very corrupt but its how the american legal system works.

 

Dude, you shouldn't have ditched your weed in the first place, the cops have no right to search you if your just sitting there smoking a cig. Secondly, you shouldn't have said you got it from school, and third, you should never have admitted to it being yours, that cop was bullshitting you, he can't blame both of you for weed that was lying on the ground and wasn't linked in any way to your or your friend. it sounds like you are just digging yourself a hole that isn't even necessary at all.

I just so happen to have the Canadian Youth Criminal Justice Act in my lap here and I dont know where you live but this is what it says:

-an officer cannot stop and question you without having a reason for thinking that you have "broken or are about to break the law", but can ask you questions if "they think you may have information, but you do not have to answer."


--"the police can search you when you have been arrested or when they beleive you are carrying illegal drugs or weapons" or if you let them and "when they beleive you have liquor in your possession and if you are under the legal drinking age."

You shouldnt of thrown in on the ground. if you were smoking a cigarette and just sitting there doing nothing, he wouldnt be able to check you unless you let him. He has to have some evidence that you are likely to be in posession of something. Better off to have kept it in your pocket.

Now, about your rights: unless you were being arrested (which I didnt quite get from your post) they dont really have to read your rights. Anyways, that's what I got from reading this thingy.

h0ax didnt even get searched even after admitting the bud was his he still had his bowl up his sleeve, lucky me this happened like 2 days after i left that area to go up to norfolk for the rest of my vacation.

 

sorry to bring up an old post but, i got arrested when I was 16 and thought about the same thing as the cops didn't read us our rights until we were at the station. they did at the station though. read up on the laws regarding minors because they are different than for adults.

Why in the hell did you roll on your dealer? Admit you bought it at school? Admit it was yours at all?

About a year ago a cop rolled up on me smoking a jay, so i tossed the roach, and when he asked what i was up to i told him i was smoking a cig. When he told me to find the butt i told him i had flicked it into the reeds about 7 feet away. I don't know if he believed me, but what was he gonna do? Search a swampish area for a little peice of paper? He threatened a ticket for underaged smoking, but ended up giving me a warning. The moral of the story? Cops can only prove what they have evidence of or what you admit to. Therefore... No evidence+no confession=no bust.

 

I hope this is another hoax, because it is hard to think that a stoner could be that freaking stupid.
A) you threw the bud on the ground for no god damned reason, the cop wouldn't have searched you unless he had a reason to. Throwing the bag on the ground is a fucking reason.
B) you admited it was yours, this means your fucked. Your Miranda rights only begin once you have been arrested, you say any dumb shit before then and you are FUCKED. The cop had to prove that you had knowledge and access to prove that you had possession, if no one had admitted to it he would have only charged you with disorderly conduct! He bluffed and you folded like a mo-fo.
C) you said you got it on school grounds, that's just stupid.
D) You didn't just keep your goddamned mouth shut and lawyer up at the earliest oppurtunity.

Though I agree he made some serious mistakes, come on, they don't teach useful things at school. Especially not about avoiding arrest or our legal rights; schools are, after all, government institutions.

^ K @ school is an imaginary dealer , he panicked and made some shit up and said the wrong shit. shit happens. i know his dealers cuz hes one of my friends and i know he wouldnt rat his man out, h0ax isnt the brightest so when he panicked he made a few mistakes.
