Does anyone know where i might be able to find GOOD WHITE BREAD without all this stupid crap they now put in it??

I have noticed that bread isnt like it used to be,ITS NOT AS SOFT.... And i wondered if they now loaded it up with preservites and other garbage that didnt used to be in it.....

I decided to do a test with a loaf of white bread i have that I didnt like (Not soft, isnt good) and let it sit and see what happens.

RIGHT NOW IT IS 4 MONTHS PAST THE EXPIRATION DATE AND THERE IS NO MOLD ON IT!!!! -- Its a little bit stiffer but NO MOLD!!!

Absolutely disgusting and proves my point..... EVERYTHING IS TURNING TO PURE GARBAGE AND ITS SICKENING!!!!!

So my question to you guys is: DO YOU KNOW WHERE I MIGHT BE ABLE TO GET SOME WHITE BREAD W/O THIS CRAP IN IT?? (For good soft toast)

Just pour some water on it.

    It'll soften up. :D

Make it, OR find a local bakery who makes proper bread w/o all the preservative shit and buy it from them. :)

jesus, there's a bread forum here? what next, the "left index finger" forum?

you should try giant eagle. i've had bread from there mold pretty recently.

there really is something different with it though. i used to be able to spread butter on bread and still have a slice of bread, but now i have to be super careful or i just tear the bread apart.

Buy A Breadmaker And Make It Yourself, That's What Most

    Of My Friends Have Done...:).

Breadmakers Used To Be Up Around $200.00 + Dollars, But In Recent Years

The Price Even For The Well Known Brands Has Dropped Considerably...:).

    Cheers Glen.

Try a better brand / read the label first / don't go for the cheapest / buy the bread that is made in-store.

This does not seem like rocket science.
Did you just want to have a rant about bread/preservatives?

    Was there any bread?
