I did know people from Quebec, they recently moved back.

Je suis un Québécois. Grew up in Montreal in an area called Rivière des Prairies. Later when I was in high school we moved to Pointe Claire. I left in 1977 after graduation from McGill and have only been back for brief visits. Nevertheless I have only fond memories.
