IBM often brags about their quantum computers and whatnot, but a lot of it is reality TV marketing, whatever the Pentagon allows them to brag about. What France is now making clear, is that quantum computers are merely the tip of the iceberg. A quantum radio alone, would be at least 10,000x more sensitive, and its now a race to reinvent everything, from radios to radar, to gravity sensors. Just as a quantum battery can recharge instantly, there's no telling where all this is going in the near future, but the 1% are about start investing, with China being the one country left that might give them a run for their money.
