Most of my friends are dead too. It happens when you get old. I understand how Scratcho thinks and feels. When you lose a friend whom you have been speaking with on a daily basis for forty years, it's a strange psychological and emotional shock. I lost such a friend back about 9 years ago. He was walking on the street in San Francisco on the way to a book store so he could buy a wedding present for his niece, and he was speaking with me on his cell phone, then his aorta burst and he died. He had not gone to the doctor about it, because he had no insurance. Yes sir, I understand how Scratcho feels.

Yeah. I have two old friends left in my hometown of Lemoore,Cal. One male, one female, both of which I've known for 75 years. ( my people were there since the before the civil war. All gone now too. I have 3 trunks that came out from Missouri on covered wagons. Just thought I'd throw that in.)

 

I sometimes feel as though I came here in a covered wagon...and I am 'just' 67. How will I feel when I'm REALLY old...sigh.

A few years ago, a cousin of mine just would not stop talking about 9/11. Know matter how I tried to change the subject, he always steered back to it. He would not look at all sides of the argument - drove me crazy. I said, even if it was a conspiracy, what are you gonna do about it??

I feel like AntiFa is only allegedly responsible for any of those "tactics", & further, the allegations don't seem to be coming from journalists so much as conservative pundits, or bloggers in webcasts. I don't know.

Do you you think AntiFa is responsible for the looting and rioting that's being reported in the news? I'm not so sure. I don't think that it is them.

Though there may be ideological parallels involved, I suspect lone bad actors - people with behavior problems. Stuff like that. They're the ones looting, and most of the AntiFa folks know better. They're more didactic and disciplined.

Well, we know Russia, Iran, China are feeding the American social sites with diatribes against Biden. Qanon, Breitbart, Fox "news "is merely an arm of the Trump election committee and the republicans are liars, dirty tricksters,etc since at least back to Nixon and the Pumpkin papers. And what the other countries don't put up on the social media--the aforementioned fuckheads are falling right in line with the countries that wish this experiment in democracy to fail. I believe that since they are full on right wing pricks, that they believe that they would get special treatment if this country went to a dictatorship and those of us on the left and even the middle would be in for serious trouble. Fascist,racist, lying, pricks all !!!!!!! Whatever they say--the opposite is true.

It makes them feel special. Life is chaos and it's comforting to think you have some inside information that makes it less chaotic for you.
