I'm unable to provide a picture, but I was wondering if anyone on here could help me with this. I've found a pill that looks like an oxycontin with the coating peeled off, inside a bottle marked CO-Oxycodone CR, in the possession of a man (not the man on the prescription mind you) who is known to peel & crush oxycontin. The problem is that there are no imprints visible on the pill, and both faces of the pill seem smooth, with one side being slightly rough. The slightly protruded flat edge of the round pill has little chunks missing as if someone had scraped at it with their fingernail. My question is, have any of you ever peeled a pill and had the imprints be almost invisible before? IME even after the coating is removed the imprints are still VERY visible, but I'm confused as to why this person would place another pill inside this bottle. And a secondary question would be what sort of unmarked pill might match the size and shape of an oxycontin to a T. Keep in mind I am in America and any prescription pill MUST have markings on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated *EDIT* the secondary question is not entirely important, I was just hoping someone might have an idea. There are no pills in the building that even come close to this shape.
I'm confused. You say you found the pill in the possession of a man. And there are no other pills in the building that look like this. It just sounds, I don't know, odd.
How is it odd? I'll try and clear it up for you. There are many pills in the house, but this pill is fairly obviously not any of those pills, due to the fact that this pill is round (the shape and size of an extended release oxycodone pill) and every other pill is either a different shape or size. I'm not sure what more to say? *edit* oh I think I understand, sorry the pill was not on this mans person but rather on the coffee table, but it's not mine, so it must be his
It's just the way it was worded, I guess. But as to the question at hand, I've never personally peeled the coating off a pill. There was one time though that I got a refill on a Hydrocodone prescription and a few pills looked like they had been shaved, and it was deep enough that the M367 imprints were obliterated, so I guess it depends on the depth of the peeling.
Thanks for the response, that's helpful as I've never personally seen a shallow enough imprint for this to happen (though the only coated pills I have ever seen peeled are 80mg OCs). I'm thinking it was obtained in it's peeled state, because I can't see any reason to peel the pill and not use it. Maybe for the same reason one would pre-roll a joint, either way, the pill disappeared from the table shortly after he came home. I guess really I should just talk to him about it, we'd agreed that drugs like oxycodone wouldn't be brought into my house if I let him stay here, and there's no sure way to figure out what it is without asking him.
Well it must have been real since SWIY took it lol. You said that there was pieces missing as if someone had scratched it with their fingernail Maybe the imprint got scratched off too maybe? I remember a long long time ago some idiots were selling Anacin (aspirin/caffeine pills I think) to some other idiots cuz they somewhat resembled an E pill.
I didn't make the pill disappear, I put it back where it was. Unless you mean "SWIY" literally, and then I wouldn't say that that would mean it's real. I mean for all intents and purposes it doesn't make much of a difference, even if it wasn't real, he probably thought it was. That may very well be possible. I wish I could've posted a picture, one side of the pill was completely smooth, no chunks or pieces torn off, and the other was only slightly rough, not deeply enough to hide the markings I've seen on other oxycontin pills. I guess it's possible that the pill were sanded to make such a smooth finish, but I couldn't see someone putting in the time to do that, or being okay with the lost pill matter that would result from such an action. I think I remember seeing advil or tylenol pills of similar size, but if my memory serves me correctly they do not have the slightly protruded flat edge.
Yes I understand what SWIM and SWIY are. If you literally meant someone who isn't me then you were correct, someone who wasn't me did take it, but that does not mean that it was oxycodone. People are sold substances with false labels every day. When I was a kid I was sold a square of paper and was told it was LSD and I took it, that didn't make it LSD. As far as I know there aren't any problems with me saying "I ate the pill" on this forum, and would have said that if I had in fact taken the pill. IMHO SWIM and SWIY protect no one, if your local or national police force is reading your posts to try and build a case on you, they most likely aren't reading them for courtroom evidence, it's more likely that they would be confirming suspicions. They aren't THAT stupid, they would know you are referring to yourself.
I would hope my local police department isn't wasting our tax dollars reading HF posts all day lol they have better shit to do but no those terms don't protect you. AFOAF (a friend of a friend) is slightly better. We can talk about doing drugs on this forum, selling drugs is another story. I would have tasted the pill and see if it tasted like oxycodone. I've never had too many drugs that actually tasted good but I can tell the difference between Xanax and aspirin
Ok, now I understand what you were getting at with your initial post. You're letting someone stay with you, with the understanding that he doesn't bring drugs into your house. That's why I was confused at first, because you didn't actually come out and say that.
