Q about a classic movie name I saw a clip from many months ago

I jump directly to my question:


I have seen a 50-second (or so) video clip (on Instagram) from a classic movie that I know nothing about. I am trying to find the movie's name (or some info about its credits). I merely remember the clip which I am going to describe here hoping someone would recognize the movie and come up with its name (and/or other credits). The clip goes something like this (I barely remember the exact dialogues or character names):




[There are two girls in a room who seem to be friends]

[Suddenly the phone rings]


["Girl A" picks up the phone; a guy's voice is heard from the other side of the line which says]: We must break up (or something of this nature very cold and direct without beating around the bush; He seems to be the fiancee of "Girl A").


["Girl A" who is shocked, overwhelmed, and brokenhearted says]: This would be a good slap/smack to my ego to … (A very brilliant sentence about herself being naive and easily gullible and this would be a good lesson for her not to be so gullible but in a very eloquent way).


["Girl B" hears this brilliant sentence and praises "Girl A" for coming up with such wording on the spot and says:]: … (I do not remember the words).


["Girl A" says]: Oh shut up … [in a way that suggests that's hardly the time for this]

[And tries to focus on the telephone conversation].

I really appreciate it if anyone could help me come up with the movie name or info or actresses' names.
