If your husband suffers from cluster headaches, headaches that come on sudden, are excruciating and come in cyclical waves or "clusters" that can last anywhere from a few hours to days, give him a low dose of LSD or Psylicybin mushrooms.....seriously.

Mushrooms and LSD have been shown to be the most effective treatment for cluster headaches and certain migraines, can literally stop an attack dead and "break" the cluster cycle for up to months for some folks .

Migraine medications are often derived from the same fungus, ergot, that LSD is derived from, Cafergot for example.

Seriously, no smart assed jokes please, look it up.

honestly the results are so good it's almost miraculous.

All those steroids are only going to cause other problems in the long run.

Get him to drop a hit of LSD. :)

Anyone remember the episode of House when he had a migraine and took LSD to get rid of it???

After my Dad's illness in late November he had to wear oxygen all the time. Now he just wears it while he is sleeping. There is no smoking or open flames in his home period. Be safe out there.

Hey.:) I'm gonna write this like I am assuming you'll be back to read it. Thanks for pm'ing me about this... yea actually me n hubby read yrs ago about psilocybin and lsd both being used to treat migraines... I think esp. even cluster migraines... but I didn't know about doing it once being able to break up a cycle and stop them for months. I thought it was just kinda like... you take it and it works for that day or a cpl days so I will def check out those links and seriously consider this. I mean before I kinda looked at it almost like a joke as a treatment BECAUSE I was thinking... yea okay he gets a cluster migraine at work and eats some shrooms and then yea, his migraine's gone but then he's working w machines while tripping. nice. however if it's something he can do on the weekend or something that he's home and it'll still work longer term, def. something to look into.
and yea... I actually knew that imitrex is sumatriptan and hallucinogens are triptans (sp.) so figured there was some kinda connection...
    neways thanks again :)
