Welding oxygen is the same thing as "medical grade oxygen." If I were you I'd look into some local welding supply stores and see what they're charging in your area.

I dated a chick who's brother was EMT, and he filled their tanks at the local Welding shop. He said its A LOT cheaper.

I heard about Oxygen bars, its like a coffee shop and you hang out and breath pure oxygen. Don't know if they're still around tho.

yeah it might be an option for you. I'd also recommend industrial oxygen like someone else said. Just be careful because pure oxygen is highly explosive.

man... makes me wonder.... D said his migraine was totally gone after 2 mins of the oxygen and they kept him on for over a half hour.... so did it make him feel high then? hmmm

so I can't smoke right beside the oxygen tank?

You aren't supposed to smoke in the same house as you use oxygen, let alone right next to the tank... But sometimes explosions come in handy.

 

Steroids are some kind of amazing drugs...they treat asthma and various types of breathing problems, arthritis, and now I find out migraines.

I have known (different) women that took them for both asthma and arthritis. Made them just AWFUL to be around. seriously. We (me and their families) knew it was b/c of the steriods, but still...they were hell to be around. At least I got to go home.

Steriods have different effects on men, if taken for prolonged periods. That is amazing to me that the pure oxygen is yet another treatment for the migraines. When I had to be on oxygen when hospitalized, I did not like it at all (but I definitely would've liked it if it made me feel high... ). I was the opposite of the chick in the video, and kept worrying them about when they were going to take that dang thing away and out of my nose!

I sure do hope y'all find out what is causing this, and that he (and you) get some relief.

It didn't do anything for me but worry the crap out of me, it seemed...and dry out my nose. I would have to keep moving it to blow...ya know?

Just feeling that air blowing up my nose annoyed me to death for some reason. They did tell me that I wasn't the 1st one to complain about that. lol
