Poverty correlates with higher rates of violence. There are a lot of social ills that come along with poverty. There are majority white neighborhoods around here I would be afraid to venture into, trailer parks and mill villages and what not full of white people who are ignorant, violent, drug addicted.

Because they're poor, not because they're white. They've had shitty lives, little to no decent role models.

It works the exact same way with black people.

No one is a particular way because of the color of their skin.there isn't a violence gene passed down from black woman to black woman.

my problems are with white trash mostly.. have come thru the neighborhood with groups of black girls fighting. but I think in the 80s the white girls fought that way too.. maybe not in such great numbers. but I remember a few cat fights that were large.. some the same white girl names we see in the police reports today. lmao.

I don't know Aerienne's story nor do I understand her perspective. It's not my place to say anything to her.

As I said earlier, my experiences with black people have all been positive. Maybe hers haven't been. You're upset with her judgment of black people yet you seem to be passing the same judgment on her.

I never said that there was a gene passed down.

What I originally said was that I didn't know the figure but I'd guess that something like 50% of black women in the hood taught their daughters to be mean.

Now, I think Orison and BBad have long ago suggested the subject be dropped in this thread.

Biggest problem for black women is the number of single mothers.

After a certain age, girl or boy don't matter anymore. When the mother cant handle something and she says "want me to get your father" shit should stop right there.

Single mothers can't do that. Kids need to be raised with both parents. This is generational effects that stack up. Not good for any people.


Also a lot of people are just idiots and play guilt trip all day long.

We were slaves not long ago. Hate to break it to ya but every skin color has been a slave at some point. You live in a great time. Stfu.

I'm not trying to discount your own experiences and I'm much more willing to listen to your own experiences rather than made up statistics that dont match my own experience.

One time a long time before GPS I mapquested directions to somewhere in the ATL and ended up lost as fuck deep in the ghetto somewhere. Had to stop twice for directions, got harrassed a bit. So I can't say I know a lot about the hoods of Atlanta but I know enough to understand where you're coming from

But also I've met a lot of black people in the Atlanta art community through my friend's brother and they're all quite nice

I cant wear the same tunnels more than 24 hours. I soak them in hydrogen peroxide for 5 minutes and clean them.

I didn't say that so it doesn't need to be proven. I told you what I said. I said I was guessing.

I'm not speaking of personal experience.

I haven't added one personal anecdote from my life, other than to talk about observations I've made in my real life since I've been experiencing black culture beginning in 1968.

I don't have any bad experiences with anybody.
