I want some real European Absinthe. It needs wormwood in it which American stuff does not have. I've heard lots of tales of hallucinations and waking up the next morning in a new country. Which only takes a few hours in Europe I guess but still sounds like something I need to try as a psyconaut. Other people tell me all that is just being really drunk because it has a high proof. I need to know!

I wouldn't really want to be hallucinating and finding myself in another country in Europe. That's some Hostel situation right there lol.

Every one goes for this high alcohol content spirit's... I personally enjoy less % but more drinks, where I'm happy, not rolling drunk and can enjoy myself.

 

They don't have everclear in Canada? Somehow I find that shocking! As far as distilling rum down to ?everclear?... I could probably go out there and do a tune up on my Crown Vic more successfully..

I do too! But it isn't in a patio garden...its in an old OLD little wagon (50+ yrs old) I use as a planter.

 

Same, I dont drink liquor. I havent in years. I like beer because I can maintain a buzz and I know I'll never cross the line and get too wasted

yeah - when the booze is too strong, I don't handle it near as well as a lower strength alcohol...I also like to keep boozing and floating. WELL that is when I used to have a life I liked it. lol I'm fairly positive I'd still like it.

not for drinking....technically drinking but after I make it into tincture you ''drink'' it with an eye dropper

 

Beer really dehydrates me when I drink it. If I'm going to have a headache it's from beer. I like low carb beer. An sugar free vodka mixes and then my woodstock.

 

What I like to drink at least once during Autumn is hot apple cider with tequila in it.

 

we have a start on the over-proof alcohol; by getting 50ish liters of beer off our fried that owns the brewery here on the island.....apparently they have lots of beer they cant sell because they are a craft brewery and still experimenting....so 50ish liters of beer distilled down to about 1 liter of over proof.....I tasted it....it was surprisingly smooth but you can still taste the hops and oats or whatever beer is made of

 

In Germany we have lots of thick, wheat and fruity ales, dark ales etc and I've never like them so drinking a low carb beer in Germany is like unGerman lol. But the wheat fills me up I can't have too much and I'll never be hungry.

Some dark ales are okay, like Dünkel and those brands but I think I like pilsner beer, not that I know the difference between a stout, lager, pils and ales

I was 27 yrs old before I was able to drink a beer without hiding the gag reflex. lol Then when I could drink it, I was like why am I doing this????

Really I'm a wine woman. I've always liked wine except for my 1st drunk from Boonesfarm , and I'll never be that desperate again. (I'll also never be underage and have to take whatever I can get again. lol)

The only time I drink liquor I like Margaritas, and its been over a year since I've had one of them.

When I say I don't have a life, I'm not exaggerating.

Tomorrow I "get" to go socialize and have fun (LOL) or in other words go grocery shopping.

My son likes to taste different types of beers...and he has said even though there are tons of those craft beer establishments here, Germany will always be known as the King of beer making...or something like that.

 

And the Autobahn dreamland of cars.
