Just curious if this has ever happened to anyone. Maybe ANOTHER ageing problem as I am 71. I had a hookup this Saturday, with a very sensual guy who gave me great head that kept bringing me to orgasm until I finally squirted. Each time it got so intense that I was aware of my abdominal muscles involuntarily tightening. It was one of those intense orgasms that had me almost screaming. That seldom happens to me and I think my abs aren't used to it. Anyhow, the next day I noticed when I move a certain way I have a pain in my lower abs - about where you would have a hernia. There is no bulging and I did have hernia repair surgery decades ago. It is better today tho I am still feeling it a little. I think it was just a muscle strain that is getting better. Has anyone else experienced a pulled ab muscle from having an intense orgasm?
You probably need to put some ice on it. How many guys would love to have your problem at 71?
Well one time I over used my tounge, but I've never the abs. (Shale, I'm guessing that you aren't in medical distress, you're just bragging right? )
Well, maybe a little. Didn't put in here that I used a Viagra to get it up for such a workout. But, sincerely concerned and wondering if you can pull an ab muscle from an intense orgasm - especially several near orgasms that cause muscle contractions. LIke I said, this kind of sex does not happen very often any more. Well worth the $35 pill. I happen to have a Dr. appt on Wednesday. If it hasn't gone completely away by then I will mention it.
An improvement on the old question "is sex nasty?" "Yeah, if you do it right" Disgusting by Shale http://home.earthlink.net/~shalestone/id12.html
This is the first time I've heard about a pulled ab muscle during sex. But I have heard that if Viagra gets caught in your throat it will give you a stiff neck. C/S, Rev J
Shale, very likely. Think about it...tension held for a long time suddenly, almost violently released? Yep. That's a strain (more likely than a sprain, as it's basically isometric) in some muscle fibers. If it feels like a hot sharp tearing sensation, see a doc. For now, ice and gentle movement. Hiccups would really suck. Watch out for the corresponding muscles in the back. They will take up some slack and get overworked easily. Psoas, up,into the shoulders, either side.
