Here are a few of my borders....3 stooges pugs are siblings and were born here in July 2011. The parents also live here, and mother Moxy Moo Moo had 6 puppies, but one died in the birth sack and 2 were given away to friends. What a hard decision I had to make. I wanted to keep all of them, as I was surrogate mother, too, and loved them all. Champy dad is going to be 12 years old soon and has a collapsing trachea. He collapsed last night, and scared the crap out of me. I thought I was going to lose him, but he bounced back. I know he probably does not have too much longer, and I am sad thinking about it. I had Champy since he was a puppy of 8 weeks old. Moxy mom is only going to be 5 years old soon, and these are the three siblings. I wish I only kept one, as it is alot of work and worry....Everyone, except for Champy Boy, is fixed now....From left to right...Winnie-girl, Einstein and Galileo....brothers..... Say cheese pups! Here is one of the cats here. Her name is Minxy Mau, and she has stomatitis, a hard disease to treat. If I did not rescue her, she would have been put down, probably. She is a little sweetheart, not a year old yet....and loves to hang out with the pugs and the golden retriever, who also lives here... It takes so long to go through my photo files, but I hope to be back here with more of the pet family here..... Cheers!
So cute!!! I have a pug. He's 10. Best dog ever even if he is an asshole sometimes. I'm at work but when I get home I will post pictures. He's had skin problems which sucks but finally found a vet that has helped us. I can't imagine having any other breed. Pugs have so much personality. They are small enough to be an easy indoor pet but they don't have all of the annoying habits of the typical toy breed dog. My dog never barks. He doesn't jump on people. He's just cute and likes to cuddle.
Cool! You have a pug, too! What is his name? They are BIG dogs in little bodies and are comedians and full of personality, as you said, but they also snore and pass terrible gas...LOL....making them even more lovable...They have no shame! I got my first because my brother wanted one, so I got it for him to visit. He lives in NYC, and his apt is no place for animals, and then I ended up with 5...WTH! They all have different personalities, too...Gali is a sensitive loner...Einee mishief trouble maker manipulator, has everyone who meets him wrapped around, Winnie is boss and like a nervous little chihuahua, but smart...Mother is so cool, even and sweet. Champy is just getting old, poor guy, but he is a stud, for sure....the best.
His name is Jesse. He weighs 32 lbs. HUGE for a pug. Oh my god, his farts are soooo bad. He's been known to clear a room and just lay there like nothing happened. He snores so loud I can hear him all the way upstairs when he's sleeping downstairs. I can actually hear him snoring from the other room right now. He sleep barks and sleep runs sometimes. It's probably the cutest thing in the whole world. He HATES when I dress him up. I don't do it very often. You can tell how ashamed he is by the look on his face. Here we are cuddling. He looks like he's smiling He's so cute. I love him!
Ruby, your Jesse,is adorable! Your first photo looks like my Champy. My Champy never did take a good photo, as he always closes his eyes, when my flash flashes, and without the flash, I cannot seem to get a good photo of him. You got perfect photos of your Jesse, though. You two look great cuddling together. Yes, they love to cuddle these little dogs. I have never dressed mine in any outifts really, and none here wears a collar ever. They go out on harnasses. They have a hard time breathing. I cannot stand when people choke hold their dogs. Thanks for sharing your Jesse.
Oh, and 32 pounds...Yes, mine are all hefty weights, too...none under 25 pounds, but I exercise mine alot, and they are mainly alot of muscle.
