i think that it is important when looking inwards on oneself to not give in to being a victim, and realise that what happened to you was because of yourself only. only you can provide yourself with an accurate sense of direction. :)

i'm not a huge fan of legal prescribed medicines. they are all too easy to get. just about anyone can be diagnosed and prescribed with legal drugs for reasons that are all too easy to pick out -- and some symptoms for some 'disorders' can even be faked really easily. but if you think that what you are taking is beneficial to yourself, then you should do what you think is best. just don't put too much investment in what your psychiatrist says..

it is just as easy to fall into a mainstream deluded perception as it is to fall into a psychedelicly deluded perception. be your own guide.

i've been through the whole psychiatrist, therapy, mental hopitals, thing. not a huge fan.

Dude i remember coming home the night when it first happened and thinking my dad was in on some scheme to kill me...Delusions are common for me, just how crazy they sometimes become is what scares me lol...I too am not huge a fan but for some mental disorders it could provide some relief or help and its also up to the paitent. Not only that but its up to the patients mind and it depends on how the condition is. Theres a whole bunch of sceniros and methods of attacking the problem or getting closer to the problem or finding the problem or not even talking about the problem and i think it varies with whatever the problem is and how whoevers response is to it and thats something that is seen from the begining of whenever something like that occurs i believe. Its never ending lol, iam not a therpist or a psychologist nor have i been to one but its common sense. I have visited a really good friend of mine a few times and hes sorta like a psychologist but i considered him more of a friend. Id go there smoke some weed and watch televison and clear my mind from the hell i was in and had a huge amount of laughs with him as well as some startling realizations about myself where id have to step outside for some air. It was hilarious but really really intense at the same time. Its amazing how the mind could repair itself, its like a computer that upgrades , restores ,restarts, sleeps, etc..etc.....Id say the worst is when the problem is liked. Like say someone walks in and is like iam gonne be great, i feel it, i recive signs from God and life is just dandy. Thanks when id look to my colleguge with the shit has hit the fan look. But its just different sceniros and no one method is able to solve for each individual and that is incredible. :)

The thing about killing is... most people aren't going to throw their lives away to murder you. Chances are even lower if they're your father, lol. I've had some acid trips where I could literally believe any schizo idea pitched at me before, but I mean I was always able to bring some basic logic into the equation. Does that just not work?

The thing I find about delusional states is it's all in your head. And everything you see somebody do you interpret it in favor of your delusion. It seems ego-centric/delusional by nature because you assume things are being done because of you and you kind of assign the person a hidden agenda they don't have-- When really in these situations people are doing things for themselves.

i believe that the nature is reality is somewhat delusional. no two people's perception on reality is going to be exactly the same. some people even lose touch with themselves out of a fear of their ability to perceive(and give up their ability to think for themself).

it's when perceptions and realities overlap that we have meaningful interactions with eachother. the commonality being the driving force behind where we go. but some people yearn for and grip the commonality too tightly, and end up hurting themselves in the process. you have to learn how to walk before you can run.

all that this reality really is is just a series of overlapping delusions... which came first? the spirit of life or the reality which nurtures it?

My dear friend... I have been there and I have done that... many decades ago but that does not matter, it is like yesterday. One day you might look back on this and realize that it was completely necessary to make you a whole person, with connections. And one day when we are dying you will know it was required of you. Life is an amazing continuum of bliss and pain and confusion and when you are done it is even more astounding that you ever dreamed. Psychotic breaks.... yeah, god knows we need more of them. Ever onward my companion on this voyage, there is not a thing wrong with you that birth and death won't fix.

This was actually fairly beautiful and well to the point of this thread.

All I'll say about it is I'm glad this experience has helped bring you out of your previous depression and ennui. I'm sure it was hellish and terrifying (and I say that from a naive outsider's perspective) but it seems that you've already taken a positive outlook from it and will use it to continue growing in the future. As said above, life is an amazing continuum and every experience is staggeringly important in its own right, its own arbitrary way. As individuals, we each can understand as we will, but perception of the flow, and others' independent (interdependent) connections with it, serve as a fairly sound basis.
