I'm guessing you are talking about 20/20 Sound by Touch (with Don Galluci), Deltamusic, there was also another US band called Touch who released an album called Street Suite in the same year 1969, I'm interested in buying these albums myself as both are certainly considered to be late 60's psych classics
Yes that is the one.. My partmer.. Gene shiveley produced it. I was a dj at WJDX-fm and someone brought it to me. Wanted to meet the engineer, she grabbed him and brought him to MS and we did music for over 20 years.. there is a new release out there. this is just a copy he maid for me to play on the net.
That's really interesting Deltamusic. The other album "Elyse" that Gene Shiveley produced by Elyse Weinberg sounds right up my street too from what I've read about it. Not sure if it's that easy to come by though or even if its seen a CD release yet?? Will be checking out 20/20 Sound though
Gene also did Captin Beefhart prior the Touch. He the one who tought me mixing and eq tricks. Here is the link to their home page. http://www.solca.com/music/touch/ !!! New Re-release of the TOUCH-album !!!
i havent read them all yet but a good one is in-a-gadda-da-vida by iron butterfly thres so many pink floyd echoes darkside of the moon is kinda
Yeah very cool album Skelter, was playing it yesterday myself , "Dandelion Seeds" is an all time classic psychedelic track. Also love the single version of The Way, not so keen on the album version though
my favourite song from the album would be 'my clown'. Btw, i like that album in your avatar. A lost classic. Is that the only album The Millennium recorded?
It was the only album that they recorded as The Millenium, but some of the core members recorded as The Ballroom and also as Sagittarius. Sagittarius recorded a couple of studio albums Present Tense (which is essential psychedelic sunshine pop IMHO) and The Blue Marble which I've heard is not that good. Incidentally all of The Ballroom material, the whole Begin album and some Present Tense outtakes are availible on the superb "Magic Time" 3CD set that Sundazed issued a few years back, a really great box set that one. I really like The Ballroom material too. Sagittarius would be my favourite of the three outfits though.
Also forgot to mention that a stripped down version of the Begin album appeared a few years back on the Poptones label called Again although I've never heard it.

Skelter, Yer right, Aerosmith really isn't that psychedelic... i put them on my list cuz while i was typing i kinda lost track of why i was makin' the list and ended up putting all the albums that i can really get into... oh well...
A couple of less known but no less brilliant albums: 'A Wizard a true Star' by Todd Rundgren 'Twelve Dreams of Doctor Sardonicus' by Spirit
The first side of A Wizard A True Star is completely whacked out, brilliant stuff. Rock and Roll Pussy is a favourite, also love the cover of Never Never Land, Disney was never so psychedelic hehehe
