Nice, hope all is well.

 

I ran for like 10 minutes straight wednesday night and puked. I'm sooooo out of shape. The only exercise I get is dancing at concerts. That's awesome though.

I've basically been smoking weed since I took it and just in general been relaxing outside. Interesting stuff. It doesn't feel very pushy at all.

I went to a strip club. I got my first ever lapdance for $40 for 2 songs. There was a $15 entrance fee and then I gave out a couple ones but was quite conservative with the 1's. Probably spent about $65 total. I don't really like strip clubs all that much but it was fun and the first time in probably 5 years or so that I've been.

I went the slimy route and chugged Robo (DXM only active ingredient, of course).. spur of the moment idea since it was Sunday morning and the liquor store was closed (we saw a turkey on the side of the road, which we took as a sign from the universe to get some Wild Turkey). Sam_Stoned is to thank for all that.

Whew... weirdest thing I've ever had. But weird in a good way and I LIKED it a lot! Have you ever done a dissociative before? It's hard to describe to someone who hasn't. It was rainy, so we spent the day chillin inside, which normally I would be bored, but everything was interesting all day long. It truly is a unique substance and hard to capture in words. Even with 2c's I'm still mostly "there" but with DXM... I was somewhere else. But I liked where I was. During the peak I tried to describe it like this: normally, when you're high/trippin you're ABOVE baseline but on DXM you're somewhere off to the side of baseline, in a different dimension. Strange, intriguing, not particularly profound, but the headspace was just something else. You actually get to watch yourself walking/talking from a different perspective... Visually, there was a lot of static and everything is 2-D like layers of foil on top of each other. I don't know how else to describe it except that I felt like a paper doll in a book... I was constantly surprised all day at the smallest things, like even speaking. Somewhere between the thought and the vocalization process, something seemed to go wrong, but I would open my mouth to speak and it would come out fine anyway. I beasted a crossword puzzle in about 7 minutes because for some reason it was just oddly enjoyable.

I kept having this sensation of "not wearing my own face"... literally.. felt like my face wasn't part of my head and that if I looked in a mirror I would see a black void. Of course, my face was there when I looked, but it wasn't mine! There's no way I can describe that feeling to someone who hasn't already experienced it.

I'm trying to integrate my memories into words as best I can but I'm at the point of the night where they are slipping away. It had a very Lovecraftian/otherwordly property to it, which I guess could be scary or unpleasant for some, but I love it and I was grooving the whooooole day. At one point, I said that if Cthulhu could be compared to a drug, it would be DXM because I was teetering on the brink of madness at a few points... BUT strangely it wasn't anxiety-inducing at all. In fact, I felt perfectly content all day. I even said I wouldn't mind if I happened to get stuck like this. It did help that I was with my best trip buddy, I can never have a bad time with S_S

just out of curiosity, are you and sam friends or lovers? not to put you on the spot.
i've only done two small doses of ketamine and only had minimal effects. i recall two interesting effects; 1) it felt like me head or eyes were at my chest level and 2) when i was standing up once, it felt like i was still laying horizontally. it felt like a WEIRD form of drunken-ness. it was pretty late both times and i went to sleep a couple hours after doing it.

i find it interesting that someone with a stock of RCs would choose to chug cough syrup (not to sound judgmental)

but dxm can be weird...in high school i took 600mg to the face on an empty stomach and had a FULL on out of body experience, then was still TRIPPING when i went to work the next day.:coffee:
