the dosage is soo subjective...i know a lot of people who didn't feel 20mg oral, but 12mg oral gave me a decent trip.

 

Just swallowed the gelcap. It's the first time I try this substance so I can't really compare.

I had a really nice trip. No nausea or vomitting. A solid (++)...that was a wonderful way to spend a monday.

 

it's weird...the dosing seems to be SO inconsistent with t-2; i've had friends who would only get +/- from 20mg oral...but get a STRONG +++ and strong nausea from 20mg nasal

my 2 or 3 mild experiences with it kind of averted me from further exploration with t-2..maybe i'll pick some up this summer and see if the batch i had was just weak.

It actually wasn't anything to write home about
After a few trials I've come to the conclusion that this combo just doesn't agree with me. They cancel out each others' intensity somehow and I just don't feel the synergy that others seem to love about this combo. The 36mg of E was way more powerful and profound than the I & E combo I had a few nights ago, and certainly more intense than the combo I did last week...

But yeah, that 36mg of E was bomb. Best OEV and CEV to date. Fucking beautiful body high as well. I'd like to bump it to 45mg next time... It's been years since I've had 2c-i solo and I never went past 25mg with it, so I believe that will be the next order of business

How long have you been off the SSRI's now? Next time, bump the 2ce up to 50-60mg Or maybe 40mg of 2ce with 15-20mg of 2ci.

 

But haven't you been doing it almost every day / other day. Maybe you have a tolerance issue and or cross tolerance.

 

SSRI free for a week now... I know it'll take upwards of a month or more to get it all out of my system, but the trip on 36mg E (2-3 days without SSRI) was undeniably more intense than the combo I did when I took my last pill the morning of..

Still not gonna give up on the combo, but I think I should have a preliminary re-introduction to 2c-i solo, since I know me and E work very well together and it's been at least 5 years since I've had i on its own. My last combo was 27mg E and 14mg I (2 nights ago, 5 days SSRI free) and it was blown out of the water by the prior 35mg E.. I can't explain that. But those doses sound yummo! I'm sure you've done 60+mg E before, yes? How was THAT?

I thought about that, too. Yeah, I got a little over zealous and tripped 3 times, each with only 2 nights in between. But it went like this: trip 2 (36mg E) > trip 3 (27mg E, 14mg I) > trip 1 (40mg E, 40mg I)

Trip 1 - heavily affected by SSRI.. Trip 2 - just right. Trip 3, too close together. That's the best I can explain it...

 

i really wonder how much more intense 2ce could get for me. i'd like to know how the intensity of me dosing 20 mg compares to say TNS dosing 50 mg. maybe our brain chemistry is so different, that we trip with the same intensity from different doses.
but a better comparison (since TNS probably just trips his face off ) is me taking 19 mg to sweetblasphemy taking 36 mg with a pretty significant tolerance (to 2ce) and cross tolerance (to SSRIs)

 

Well shit. That's pretty unfortunate. When I have 2ce, I usually trip every few days too, and tolerance never seems to affect the trip. How are the chems being stored?

Yes, I've gone up to 63mg with measured doses, but I've gone higher with an unmeasured dose for my very first 2ce trip. lol I estimate anywhere between 75mg and 100+mg, but I was on an insane cocktail of other drugs/alcohol at the time, so the effects were decreased, I'm sure. Still a powerful trip though, and it lasted FOREVER. The 63mg trip was INSANE.

It's good that you're careful though. When it comes to ingesting things, especially those explicitly labeled "not for human consumption" my whole concept of caution flies out the window. It's not always going to be a good thing lol

I vote for the difference in brain chemistry. In all of my experience with 2c's (B, E, I, T-2, T-7) I know for sure that I could take the same dose from the same batch X-amount of time apart and have completely different trips, with varying intensities. I know I'm not the only one who experiences an interesting dose-response curve. Interesting. Also happens to me with alcohol.

E.T.A. - When I was tripping regularly when I was younger, SSRI's weren't in the picture, and it still happened...

 

i agree with that - the same dose can have varying effects, taken at different times. i've had 14 or 15 mg trips that were more intense than a 17 mg trip, with no tolerance. but since i've only taken 12-20 mg, my dose response curve isn't very broad

it could have to do with food in stomach, how much gets absorbed for whatever other reason, obviously set and setting...

happens with all psychedelics really, but i wonder if it's more variable for some. like maybe 2ce
