Didn't you used to rave? Did you primarily go to UG's?

 

I did used to rave. But these days it all feels so crowded. For instance I went to EDC in 2015 or 2014; I can't remember which, and there were sooo many people. It was weird. It's exciting to be part of that, but it's also worrisome logistically. It's hard to dance.

When I went to raves in LA it was at a clubbish venue called the Orion. I say clubbish because it wasn't at a warehouse, it was a brick building with concrete floors. Sometimes they would bring in props and stuff for parties. I also went to an actual club on Hollywood Blvd. that was called Teknoclub and Qtopia for a few years. I forget what it's called now, but the place is still there under new ownership. I think Insomniac owns it. They are the biggest rave promoter that I know of. Anyhow... I think I just grew out of it.

 

I've only been to EDC back when it was in LA I've heard it's extremely hot during Vegas that time of the year too... I think they are bumping the festival up a couple weeks this year because of that.

 

It was like 112 or something like that, but it cools off a bit as the sun goes down.

 

I went to EDC when it was one day thing in Colorado. Probably not the same total experience of Vegas or LA but you had loud music, carnival rides, and big name DJ's. The problem is your car was likely to be broken in to. Of all the types of music I have seen live and all the shady drugs and other business nothing comes close to raves. So many OD's so many people doing any drug they can find.

 

I've never seen an OD at a rave, neither Festival or Underground. I'm sure it's happened at some Festivals I've been too though. I have seen someone get alcohol poisoning at a John Mayer concert.

I found an old bag of 5-meo-mipt "foxy moxy"

They say it's sort of nurotoxic like MDMA now. I had not read that went I did that but I never found it to be a good psychedelic. Something went on but it did feel kind of hard on my body. It was a gram bag and now there is like 1/4 of that so I had my fun at some point but I can't recall doing that much. Espeicly when the dose is so low.

Debating dumping it but I have not yet.

I also found a few grams of NBOME. That went in the trash.

I tried 1P-LSD again now that I'm not on an SSRI. Last time (while on an SSRI) I took 150 - 175mcg (cant remember, exactly) and had a pretty good trip, but not super intense. This time I took 125mcg and it was super intense. Not in a bad way, but the antidepressant definitely had a significant dampening effect.

 

Bump for 1 hit of Ecstasy. ~160 mgs

 

i haven't tripped in so long that now i'm scared to trip

 

I have been feeling that way too actually. I keep revisiting my past and I have to remind myself that I'm not the same anymore.

 

That's why Ketamine exists, one can be whisk away to fantastical mindscapes without any of the trepidation about confronting mental anguish that might manifest from unresolved conflicts.

 

Anybody have a recommendation for an environment to trip LSD in?


I've done it hiking in nature, concerts, my own place. But open to suggestions in any other environments that cultivates it's potential to excel in.

 

I don't know that I could handle LSD at a concert. I'd need a trip sitter, for sure.
