Psychedelic Bump XXII

Hello Friends,

I am out of town at my brother's house. Trimming weed and doing BHO. I would love to chat with you good people, but it looks like my computer has been hijacked/hacked whatever - I'm not sure what's up for I cannot get into chat. It basically says, "Activate Java (TM) Platform SE 7 U. Underneath this it reads: The plugin has security vulnerabilities.

 

it says that for everyone. it's an issue with java. i don't quite understand it, but i have said "accept the risk"
maybe stupid

 

It will allways say that about JAVA because, well, Java is a potential security risk, same as Adobe reader and anything that can execute code on your system, same goes for macros in MS Office docs.

That is the reason why there are updates to those programs all the time.
But, it is by and large safe if you practice overall smart internet habits.

Intense trip today on 3 tabs of 25i.

Oh man it made me so hot. I was sweating like a bastard.
Great visuals: tracers, shit morphing all over the place, solarized colors everywhere.
I think 25i has a profile more like mescaline: long come-up with peak around midway. I don't think I fully felt it until 3 hours after I dosed.
Great tactile "hallucinations," eg, running my hand across ukulele strings I felt that they were twisting and unraveling beneath my fingers.

My buddy who was having his first time with 25i (and certainly his first- or second-heaviest psychedelic trip yet) also had a good day. Although he has not done a straight-up psychedelic in over 6 years, he does have much more experience with molly than I do (read: I have none) and he said that the 25i experience reminded him of a psychedelic mixed with a heavy dose of MDMA. He said "I imagine that's what a candyflip would be like." Comparisons from any who have tried both?

 

that gets said about pretty much every psychedelic RC at some point. i thought that about 2ce, even though i have never rolled, so i don't know quite what it's like. i don't think it's a great comparison though, and it kinda creates unnecessary hype.
but like i said, i've never rolled, and i've only tried 25i mixed with 25c, twice. didn't particularly love it.

i hope you had previously tried one, then two of those tabs before you ate three.

 

At the end of the day all of the phethylamine RCs, to me, feel like little parts of mescaline's broader spectrum of effects. They feel like little pieces of the mescaline experience, amplified, while mescaline sort of encompasses all of those feelings, but with less intensity.

I didn't really like 25i, thoough. I wouldn't compare it to mescaline. But I would definitely compare 2c-e and 2c-t-7 to mescaline. @c-t-7 + mdma feels a lot like mescaline

And Porck, you've actually never rolled?
that's pretty impressive. Are you saving it for the perfect time, or are you just not interested?

 

There are some vague similarities but I don't find 25i all that similar to a candyflip, granted I've explored them in completely different settings. My candyflips I've explored at rave-type settings, 25i at home. I find candyflipping more fluid, encompassing and dreamlike and 25i more rigid, lofty and clinical.

I thought you tried Molly before at 150 mgs??

 

I would like some input on this.. has anyone had a ketamine and/or PCP experience to compare to a DXM trip?

I ended up trying DXM twice now, and this second time was very psychedelic. I was listening to music that I've heard virtually 200 times, and it sounded almost unknown. Any song that I didn't know how to personally play on an instrument felt foreign. It was very intense and still yet to come down (13 hours and still going) It certainly is on the come down, but I wouldn't be able to drive as of now

 

I liked ketamine more then DXM, but overall I would take other psychedelics before them. DXM felt very dirty to me, I just has this overwhelming feeling I was fucking myself up. My thoughts were very cloudy even for being high. K had a similar feeling but to a lesser degree and I found it to be more psychedelic and less of a numbing high.

I definitely could not drive on K, I don't know how people do it and go dancing. All I can do is sit on my couch when I am on it. If your interested in K look into John Lilly. He describes a entity he finds on K and I have had similar experiences. It never happened on DXM though.

i have tried 150 mg one time. it didn't really seem to do much. i don't doubt the source, so i'm pretty sure it was real mdma, just not quite enough, and a poor choice of a setting. i've always thought that i was just interested in psychedelics and "tripping," but when the chance to "roll" was offered to me, i figured it was worth a shot.
another guy recently gave me 500 mg of molly. he had just sold me some "acid" which i'm 99% sure was 25i-nbome, so i don't really trust that "molly" to be mdma. i plan on testing it chemically before i use it. and to use it in a better setting, like a concert or something.

i've also tried two very low doses of ketamine, which kinda worked...but just barely enough to say that i've tried it.

and i've taken mescaline extract two time, which didn't seem to work. so as interested as i am in taking a mescaline trip, i can't really say that i've tried that one either. with the exception of the sketchy dude's molly, these things have been provided to me by friends with the best of intentions, so even if i didn't get full effects i certainly appreciate it and don't harbor resentment about it or anything like that.

to "bump" a thread is to post in it (thereby "bumping" it up to the top of the thread page). So this thread is just for us to shoot the shit; the original intent was to "only" post when you have taken a psychedelic, but it evolved into just a general psychedelic discussion thread for the community.

Bump for my first time FINALLY trying Kava Kava last night! Volupta and I liked it VERY much. Bump for about 25% bigger dose tonight.

Added weed like 7 hours into it last night, tonight might smoke might not.

I have done DXM, ketamine and MXE. Comparing DXM to ketamine, ketamine is much better in every way. I would pick K over DXM 100% of the time. The actual high from DXM is quite amazing, don't get me wrong; and in fact very similar to ketamine. But what's absent from ketamine is the body load and the ridiculous amount of the shit you have to do.

Kava is very relaxing, anxiolytic, and has absolutely no cognitive effects; its very clean. It made us very giggly and playful. I see why this is used in place of alcohol in some parts of the world; you get a nice buzz, even some body sensations, giggliness, but no horrid toxic effects and you can definitely operate heavy machinery.

Bump for also buying a SAD lamp to try out this fall and winter.

The problem with kava is inconsistency in different preparations. They discard the root after a day if it isn't pounded into a fine powder and made into a concoction in Vanuatu, given the instability of kavalactones over even short periods of time, it makes sense this means they have a higher quality product. Vanuatu law dictates it has to be organically grown for at least 4 years to be exported so generally I have noticed a higher quality root from there than other places. I had a higher sensitivity to drugs some years back when I drank kava regularly, but then in high enough doses it would not be advisable to operate heavy machinery. it's like drinking a couple beers and having a valium. You've got to be a trooper like the native islanders to drink that much. I don't know how they do it. I can barely chug alcohol and the natives drink 2-3 entire bowls of kava at a time, going through 10 a night per person. being that it is not nearly as potent as alcohol by weight this gives kava less appeal to a westerner where we're trying to fuck with chemicals in the low miligram, sub-miligram ranges these days.
