Quite a mellow night for me lol..

My brother is in Atlantic City right now at a barstool blackout event w/ some of his friends. He is going to be doing molly for the first time so I hope it's all going well for him haha. My friend and I are getting whatever molly he has left over tomorrow.. probably around .3 or so :2thumbsup:

Anyways, just watched "The Perks Of Being A Wallflower" w/ my sister..and I gotta say, I really enjoyed the film! I've never read the book but I really connected w/ the film..emotional at time lol.. I recommend it! :sunny:

What started off as an evening where almost everything that could go wrong felt like it did transformed into an amazing night!!!

I was taking the train to be picked up by my girl L and then we were going to head to the rave. My train arrived a good half hour or so late. When I finally arrive at the station, I notice L isn't anywhere to be found and as it turns out she went to a different train station. Dr.Bonzai was already at the rave which was closer to me, so I have Bonzai come get me which he was willing to do as the event hadn't really got going yet. I tell L to meet us there and she gets lost (totally understandable the rave was off a dirt road at a plant nursery and farm) and she was supposed to beat us there by a bit. Bonzai and I make it to the rave and at this point its mostly younger kids but I was already enjoying the music.

About 30 mins later, L makes her way back and I meet her out before the road changes to the dirt road so she doesn't get lost. Significantly more people start arriving now, some older people as well which was good. I landed a cap of MDMA which didn't have much in it for those of you who know how I like to dose it but it was probably about 100 mgs. Music was primarily electrohouse, drum n bass, and various forms of trance. Occassionally there were some dubstep and trap interludes on.the electro stuff but it was light on that stuff.

L chose not to dose anything and it was her first rave, Bonzai didn't dose either, he took some video and roamed around for a lot of the party. I had been talking to a DJ who was spinning at this party a few days prior coordinating on how we were getting there and stuff and that I was hoping to meet. A few hours into the party, I dosed some Moxy and sought out this DJ. I found her at a donation booth, representing for one of her friends who was in a car accident and we talked for a bit. There were a few booths setup, the others displaying handmade jewelry and body paint and stuff like that, this event was alcohol free. The DJ was really cool and she offered to give me DJ lessons as I told her it is something I am interested in. Then about an hour later just as my Moxy flip was kicking in good, she got on the turntables and was spinning some amazing trance that sounded very tribal but it was quite distinct from psytrance. I was dancing my ass off to her first few tracks. L wanted to go outside and she seemed like she.wanted to lay down and.when I laid down I was pretty floored. I laid in her lap and she gave me Massages, some raver passer byers would talk to us and say stuff like how we looked cute together. After awhile we decided to head away from the music stages and walked down the farm, we spent most of the remainder of the evening out here, holding each other, exploring each other, dancing with each other. It was funny because there were some cows that would occasionally moo out where we were at and we could still hear the music really well from one stage but the cow moo almost felt as if they were part of the song or that the cows were mooing at the rave music tee hee.

I may post the song later as I can't at the moment but one highlight musically during this time was a DJ spun a Bob Sinclair song 'World Hold on' and under the bright moonlight in the field, there was just this sense that somewhere out in the universe, this power of this event was resonating with other people, other beings, forces, signaling a sign of hope and love.

    Edit: Choon

The moxy flip was interesting, it felt fairly intoxicating, extremely tactile and erotic. The music sounded amazing, I felt like the moxy's heightened trippyness really made me sense more of the treble synths to a degree, and they felt like they were directing my trip as much as the bass heavy beats.

i've camped in that spot for the last 4 years. the last 2 it rained heavily on friday night - it hasn't flooded yet...but you're right orison, that's not the smartest place to set up camp. and if i keep doing it, i'm probably asking to get flooded.

the creek we are next to is pretty slow moving, and not a lot of water though. it would have to rain like it did for noah's ark for us to be in danger of getting hurt i think. we are in serious danger of getting all of our stuff soaking wet though.

You totally made me remember that book! It was one of the few fiction books I read in high school. I decided to watch the movie yesterday. I definitely enjoyed it. It kept me engaged the whole time and reminded me of my life back when I read that book when I was at a new school. The flick was a little girly at times but definitely good!

On the road tomorrow morning - visiting friends by the desert, then 3 day fest in the mountains (foothills actually), then 4-5 day backpack high in the mountains.

I decided to pass on the planned mdma at the fest :( because I think there is some degree of health risk related to its stim properties and my advanced age. I won't be with anyone I'm sure I can trust to get it right in case of some kind of cardiac event, so it's psychedelic all the way.

good to know your limits, or to play it on the safe side.

looks like tomorrow will finally be the day I dose AL-LAD. I can say that in addition to third-party raving reports, I have some firsthand proof as a piece of a blotter in an EZ Quick Test turned an immediate purple. Friends report no taste and seemed like they were down by the 6-hour mark the other night.

Was supposed to try it out today with a couple friends but they can't make plans for shit and I don't really feel like solo tripping. so tomorrow it is.

    Enjoy your trips everyone. >:B

I might be dosing MDMA later, though I just ate so I'll wait another hour or so before dropping because I want to have a full experience. I'll be alone but something is telling me it won't matter.

heheh yes, aesthetically I prefer simpler things with more flow, like raindrops or waterfalls or streams and shit. (though I acknowledge the fractals are everywhere, man) That's why I like smoking weed now. I feel like I can see things in their simple essence, rather than in a chaotic mathetmatical fractally psychedelic state of mind. It's like preferring simple Joni Mitchell folk tunes over complex works like Yes' Close to the Edge. I love both but I like being on earth
