Psychedelic Bump XXI

....I thought they where invented in like, 2009/10? I know that there was almost nothing known a few years ago, even before it showed up on blotter. People where much more careful with doses, I remember reading reports with people trying from 25-325 micrograms. They seemed under the impression that very few people had ever ingested these chemicals.

Not that I'm calling you wrong or anything, you'd know better than I would.

 

Yeah you're right 2009-2010, thought I saw some BL posts from 2002 but must have remembered wrong, cant find them now.

Thanks for the advice, but that sounds too much like what I had to do at times just to get through a work day

 

Just got "The Yoga Tradition: Its Philosophy, History, Literature and Practice" by Georg Feuerstein, Ph.D. in the mail yesterday.

Read the preface and introduction last night. Man I am so excited to read this book.

 

Some people, like a lot of med students, take propanolol for testing enhancement and <anxiety. Other people, singers and whatnot, take it for performance anxiety.

Coincidentally, at last weekend's psy gathering (ceremony), I led an hour-long discussion on similar uses of psychedelics. This was the first thing like this I've done in 3 or 4 years. Later, the first acid in a long LONG time.

Ran into an ex downtown, with a substantial mxe high still lingering. Strange stuff.

 

That can be strange enough without chemical enhancement.

 

Been experimenting with Alpha Brain the past couple days. Not trying to start a big discussion on it but I just remember a few people here have tried it before. It's been okay so far. I don't see much change with creativity or motivation at this point (and doesn't help with the stupid stoner moments...haven't been smoking on it though). I definitely feel more alert though. Not sure if I will be able to see any substantial benefits. Eager to try it before sleep as well.

 

i still have half of a bottle of it. i took some on monday for the first time in a couple of months and i feel like i was a bit more alert and focused, but not enough to convince myself that it wasn't placebo or just a better than ordinary night of sleep.

i think i'm going to order some provigil/modafinil and see how that works.

 

Bump for about 300ug of LSD, if I'm to believe that the dosages are accurate on those hoffman's, which I would say is very probable.

Edit: Forgot to add that I dosed last night around 9 or 10.

I may add that these blotters are a good representation of the bitterness taste index that I've always wanted to try to identify. There was a considerable taste when trying deliberately to taste the tab, holding it on the tip of my tongue. It was enough that I just swallowed the blotter after a moment as did my friend. No numbness and the taste didn't linger or spread like nbome's. Trip was about an hour or so on the come up. Most definitely LSD-25 as far as I can gather experientially.

There was a moment on the come up when my friend entertained the notion of it being RC, but as the trip progressed later on I would look at him bubbling with uncontrollable laughter and we would exclaim something like, "definitely LSD!"

Feels like coming home after a long time.

~300 ug has been my "go to" dose with the hits i have now. are those hoffmans supposed to be 150 ug each too? wish i could come across something like that, as my stash has dwindled to just enough for one more trip with my brother this summer.

i had some 2010 hoffmans back in...2010. they were probably only ~80 ug or so, and pretty bitter for LSD tabs. it was like you described though, you could taste it when you tried to (i could taste it more than my friends), but it didn't spread around or linger much. probably just dirty paper (like dirt..not "dirty acid")


bump for NOT tripping for 3 months. longest i've went for the past 2 years. i'm planning to trip on 4/19 or 4/20, and by then it will have been my longest break since 2008

I don't have a whole lot to say about this particular trip. I spent most of the time inside watching archer and arrested development, and then the imaginarium of Dr Parnassus which was ruined due to out of sync audio in the streaming copy I found.

The highlight of the trip was spending it with one of my very best friends, and a newer one at that. It was a really great night. Many many laughs.

I finally got outside for an hour or so during the comedown, maybe around +9. Took my longboard out around the park. It made me regret not spending more time outside, but it was a bit too cold and my friend and I both ended up nursing a headache after a while.
