On a side note, I just acquired 3 hits of Lady Lucy! I also discovered some great indie bands last night! This is shaping up to be an interesting Autumn :sunny:

Hey guys what's up? It's about time for one of my regular check-ins here at the bump thread.

Had some new goodies since I was last here. I remember when I last posted here I posted my current wishlist of psychedelics I wanted to try, which was:

I can happily tick both LSD and 25C-NBOMe off my list now, and my list of psychedelics tried is now (in chronological order):

What about anyone else, anyone tried anything new lately? How'd you find it?

I've also got myself a 4mg hit of DOC so I can cross that one off too soon speaking of which, I thought I'd ask you guys a quick question that doesn't really deserve it's own thread.

I've heard people saying some/all of the NBOMes have long lasting tolerance, requiring 2 weeks+ if you want to take the same dose and get the same level of intensity again. Have you guys found this? What about cross-tolerance with other compounds?

The reason I'm wondering is I took 25C-NBOMe (1.2mg, buccally) 7-8 days ago, and I'm considering taking DOC tonight, but I don't want it ruined by tolerance.

In other news, I've also got 2C-T-4 and 3C-E (not 2C-E) in my stash to try, only a dose of each but I'm looking forward to both

 

tolerance is funny with nbomes ,, ive taken it up to 5days in a row orally, moderate activity in most those, at the end the week I snorted a milligram and got off 4times that I did all week. repeated nasal the following day NOTHING ..

candy flipping works the way is always does, til you are burnt out..

That would suggest maybe the severe tolerance is after dosing nasally? By orally I assume you meant sublingual/buccal?

Which of the NBOMes was that by the way? I've heard the tolerance differs from drug to drug, with 25I seeming to produce the most, and either D or B the least - not sure if that's actually true though as I haven't tried to experiment with the tolerance really.

I know I tripped 4-5 days after taking 1mg 25I on some 2C-E, I can't remember my dose but it was fairly low, and my trip was fairly light. That said though it wasn't notably reduced from my usual level at that dosage and my friends who took the same dose were on a similar level to me, despite not having had 25I like I had.

Makes me think there might not be as significant a cross-tolerance as there is tolerance to the same drug, so maybe I could take DOC without problems now, but I'm not sure I want to risk it.

sublingual/buccal?,, yes.. Nasal does burn it out.. this is due to the bioavailability and the come up is near to none. youll be tripping in 5minutes. repeated nasal use may cause and will cause bleeding of the sinus cavity.

 

Hello all, it's be awhile since I've posted!

I was hoping you guys could share your opinions on my situation. So my girlfriend and I were planning on doing some 2C-E tomorrow. However, I only have ~14mg left, so the original plan was to snort ~7mg each. I'm now starting to have my doubts though. 7mg should be a fairly strong dose insufflated with a quick intense come up.

I don't think she's ever had a very intense psychedelic experience, let alone with that quick of a come up. She does have a decent amount of experience now, but never a intense trip, except maybe once on 25i, but that stays fairly clear headed and controllable even with strong doses.

She also tells me that there's something shes been thinking about a lot and that a trip might be beneficial. It sounds like it's bothering her quite a bit though. 2C-E kind of has a way of making you deal with it whether you like it or not. Those experiences are often intense, and I'm not sure if she's quite ready. Who am I to say though? She is set on tripping tomorrow though. She isn't really going into this one looking for fun, but of course doesn't want to have an overwhelming (in the bad way) or bad trip

Anyways, I'm considering other possible options and am wondering what you guys think may be best.

The first other option is ~7mg of 2CE orally with a dose of 5-MeO-Mipt. I assume this combo wouldn't be too visual with that low of a 2CE dose. 2CE is visually stunning and it'd be a bummer to miss out on that. I find a low dose of Moxy helps make the body load more flavorful. Any other reasons to consider/disregard this option?

The second option is ~7mg of 2CE orally with a dose of 25i-NBOMe. I'm not sure what this would do to the body load, except for probably make it a lot speedier. I find both pretty stimulating alone as it is. I would expect the visuals to be spectacular though.

What do you guys think about those combos? Better options than just snorting 2CE or should we stick to that?

Snorting 7mg in my experience isn't overly intense, in fact in my experience while the visuals definitely shoot up a notch with snorted 2C-E, I've been able to push the overall dose a lot higher before it gets too weird for my liking.

That said though, unless you have some lidocaine or benzocaine laying around to numb your nose with before snorting it, I wouldn't do it. The pain is horrible and sticks around for the first 30-60 minutes of the trip, making enjoyment pretty much impossible during that stage, and bad bodyload/puking quite likely if you have a weak stomach. In my experience even after the pain's faded it leaves my nose blocked and my sniffing a lot, and overall the quality of trip is much lower than oral.

7mg oral is actually a quite nice experience with 2C-E. It sounds on the low side but I've gained some fantastic insights from dosing 2C-E at the low end. Taking just 5-10mg really makes everything look that bit sharper and your thoughts begin to process much better, allowing for enhanced introspection and creativity.

I actually prefer 2C-E at lower doses lately, and it seems to have rewarded me with better more interesting visuals at this level. I've taken as much as 60mg in a night in the past, and had some incredible visuals, but now what I see from 15-20mg is far far better, and my preferred dose is 15mg.

What other substances do you have? Does it have to be 2C-E? If you have other suitable items in your stash you could both trip on one of those and save the 14mg for a nice single dose for one of the two of you another time.

It really depends on the level of trip you enjoy. If you're both like me and can enjoy even the lightest of trips than taking 7mg orally each will be a great time - but if you want quite a deep experience you might both be underwhelmed and unsatisfied.

I have snorted low doses of 2ce before, I'll never forget the pain felt. The only substances I have are that one 2ce dose, some 25i, and plenty of 5-Meo-Mipt. The main reason we're planning on 2CE is because she's looking for an insightful trip and I'm looking for a fairly immersing trip, one that feels complete. I feel that 25i and 5-MeO-Mipt more often than not lack both insight and immersion. For that fact I think I'd personally be disappointed by just 7mg oral.

 

nbomes are still SUPER new. i'd be weary of doing combos with them.

if i had just 14 mg of 2ce, i'd probably take it as an oral dose. i never tripped from snorting 2ce, but i have a feeling that i prefer oral.
7 mg oral would likely be a let down for me, unless i was just looking to get a bit of sensory enhancement at the movies or something.

I have been contemplating seeing Cloud Atlas with some sensory enhancement. Is it very weird enjoyable? Like say is a matinee showing worth checking out?



@ Superpsychme: If you only have 7 mgs, taking the 2ce rectally May be worth it. Like was said about snorting, I doubt it'll be a really intense trip but you won't have to deal with a burning nose and you'll still reap all the benefits of nasal in an increased potency and quick onset. I took 10 mgs 2ce rectal once, found it more MDMA-ish as in subtle visually with other senses heightened but not quite as intense of a tactile and empathogenic push, it was a bit more easy going than higher doses of 2ce tho.

 

i'd say the movie is worth seeing, since you were already interested in seeing it. but i dunno how i'd feel about tripping for it...it was pretty dark. and not all that easy to follow while sober.
