Sounds like 25D's the most thought provoking of the NBOMe's. Although I think they're pretty fantastic chems, they can be a bit shallow sometimes, had amazing, fun times with them, but only a few incidences of coming out of the trip with a strong message like you got with the 25D.
Hopefully I'll source it here soon, don't much like the idea of shipping over the pond!

Do you mix anything else with the mimosa?

 

I use Syrian Rue seeds as my MAOI, so just make a Mimosa-only brew. However, I like to use the egg-white tek to remove as much tannins as I can from the mix. That really helps keep nausea down for me, although still end up purging it's generally only on the onset, not throughout the trip.

Thinking about extracting this time and trying out a Pharmauasca, see how the nausea compares.


Anyone with experience of using extracted DMT + MAOI for oral dosing, what sort of dose ranges would you say for the DMT?

Woah that sounds like a trip! I had an inkling to try 25d at one point but I dunno kind of have put off the nbomes for now due to some of the negative incidents reported as of late. What dose was this on and complexed or no?

 

a 10 strip of nbome is like 30mg.. that is beyond a hero dose of this compound.. its getting laid as such, .. you can 10 strip lucy til the cows come home.

 

Oh it surely was, dark globe was right, it was more thought provoking then 25i and 25c. This 25d trip, I believe were complexed blotters. I had taken 2.5mg for this breakthrough on 25d. I was on the floor sprawled out for most of the trip in like a different reality most of the time, but when I came too on a couple occasions, the geometric patterns on the carpet were pretty intense. The carpet seemed to be colored in millions of rainbow colored water droplets, it looked so crazy! Also some hallucination like manifested itself into a dragonfly which was flying around tripping me out, making tracers.

 

Does anyone here have experience with nootropics?

I just ordered some Alpha Brain and I actually did notice a cognitive benefit. Took one last night a couple hours before smoking a joint and I think it made the high more clear headed.

Curious to hear what you guys and girls think.

 

i think it's funny that you are looking for a cognitive benefit or a clear head, when you could probably accomplish that from not smoking weed

the cognitive benefit was not while i was high. i probably could have worded that more clearly. i just also noticed that it made the high a bit different.

 

it's ok. sometimes i drink a "clarity" tea after smoking a bong

Cool link, I may have to check that book out. I read an Oliver Sacks book called An Anthropologist on Mars back in school which featured one chapter where a hippie dosed tons and tons of acid in the 60's and I think he had some underlying mental issues as well. He ended up going to India for a few years and when he returned he ended up having anterograde amnesia where he couldn't form new memories past the 60's and this continued into the 1990's when Sacks met with him. The guy was convinced LBJ was still president and always commented on Elvis as if he was alive, pretty strange and interesting stuff. Tons of other interesting non drug related cases in that book as well.

 

Apparently lots of people used to get amnesia when visiting India due to side effects from too high of a dose of malaria medication.

 

Amnesia could be fun you get to meet all of your friends again.
