I think it's great, I want to read about their application of 2c-b though.

I've heard about that South African tribe using 2c-b and I always thought it was fitting, sort of the mirror image of the rest of the western world adopting and translating eastern thoughts/practices :). Of course it's all one hehe. I can understand their fascination with that molecule anyways :D

I have a soft spot for amt. I consider it possibly the only truly "addictive" psychedelic. If you look at its structure chemically, it is:

    Alpha Methyl Tryptamine

and if you look at the chemical structure of amphetamine, it is

    Alpha Methyl Phenethylamine

I don't know how much this makes sense in chemistry, but basically aMT is like the amphetamine of tryptamines. Lasts all day, euphoria, energy, relaxation. Don't expect to trip hard or anything like that. Expect a euphoric buzz all day with minimal trippiness. I only ever dosed in the 15-35mg range, I always found 35mg to be quite divine. The comeup is long, 2.5-3 hours, and there is nausea and some general body complaints, you might get a headache, puke etc. Mixed with ganj and spent outdoors its quite wonderful. Given its low price and availability I would really recommend giving it a try.

Thanks for all the advice and input everyone!

Yeah, that's the resident population for the entire CDP, not just the town Coldfoot but all the random crazy wilderness-people that live in cabins around there and stuff.

The camp is staffed by seasonal employees (who wouldn't be counted on a census because they are transient). From what I understand there will be anywhere up to 30 staff working at the camp this summer, mostly college-aged.

Oh there are definitely mountains. Coldfoot is in the Southern Brooks Range, which is the major mountain range that goes East-West across arctic Alaska. Atigun Pass, the highest point on any road in the state, is just an hour North of Coldfoot.

...Not so much for glaciers, though. Glaciers require high levels of annual cumulative snowfall, and Northern AK is an arctic desert; dry air so not much snow actually falls.

I have experienced the so-called "acid jacket." I once meditated on a cold-ass lakeside dock for like two hours while tripping--certainly could not have accomplished that sober :D

damn, still haven't tried 2cp yet, huh? you've tried 2ci though? what do you think about it if so?

you like 2cb more than 4aces? that's saying something!

actually 2cb gave me some incredible chills and shivers. most psychedelics seem to be able to do that to me, but 2cb was the "coldest" in regards to actual body sensations.

i like how you use to term arctic desert. when i went on my cruise up there, everyone kept saying how that part of alaska (southern coast) was actually a rainforest. and it looked like it!
that town sounds pretty awesome man. have a blast up there this summer. when do you leave us?

and what is this "acid jacket?" feeling of being warm?

Yeah Alaska is huge obviously, so...it encompasses many different ecosystems. Brooks Range is a technical "arctic desert" but if you go 400 miles West, there's a no-shit actual arctic DESERT caleld the Kobuk Desert: sand dunes and everything, if you can believe that.

    I leave in late-May.

"Acid jacket" is a term I was taught (possibly coined) by my friend H, indicating the sensation you have on acid of not being able to feel cold.

I feel the need to stock up on research chems just in case they become explicitly scheduled. 250mg of 2C-E seems like it could last me a lifetime.

In other news, I might get some molly this month. I'm so damned excited! I've been wanting to enter the entactogenic realms for a long time. I like to think in terms of my heart rather than my head so these sort of substances appeal to me. :sunny:

yeah, alaska is wild! i'm so glad i got a chance to see (some of) it

i think i've gotten more of a "jacket" from 2ce. i've spent several of those trips outside in below freezing temps. acid makes me cold as often as it makes me sweat

Well, I mix it with my bud and hits me alot harder. It's supposedly atleast 5x more powerful than tobbacum. Shamans use Nicotiana Rustica religously and many say it's there primary plant of choice in healings. That's about all I know.

So in other words if you smoke it by itself, nothing happens?

I'm curious about trying it though. Does it just taste like an insanely strong cigarette?
