I used to rock this song out all the time. Rocky 4 has an awesome soundtrack.

I'm reading a book Called Neuromancer right now which has a lot of similar themes, although the main character is fostered to be more of a mob member at this point of the book with a bunch of techno neurological implants and drugs and stuff but he also plugs into the Matrix. Pretty interesting book, I recommend it if that stuff interests you.

 

I thought that was a movie too, but apparently not. Yet.

But ya, the first Matrix was good stuff. Too bad they couldn't keep the series as good as the first.

 

I think Matrix blows away Inception.

At the risk of running too off subject... maybe that's not a fair comparison?

They're both awesome in their own way, sort of like apples n oranges. The Matrix for me had a better story concept, Inception was deeper in suspense and how it wove layers together.

Christopher Nolan is a master story teller. Check out Memento and see if you don't agree.

 

Nolan is the man but Inception just didn't click with me as much for some reason, maybe I'll watch it again. I really enjoyed his take on Batman, also Memento is genius work.
