Have you ever done any other dissociative? What do you think of MXE compared to things like LSD and mushrooms? I'd love to know your thoughts. Sounds like you have fallen in love with it as much as most people who try it its volupta and mine's almost-every-weekend treat

I have probably gotten just as many profound insights from mxe as I did from any psychedelic. I consider it an entheogen.

Wow, really? ^^^ Did you bump or does 6apb last 12 hrs for you?

My bump is an anti-bump for a mild hangover, but from drinking grapefruit margaritas with a close lady friend and enjoyed a really nice evening of lenghty, intimate conversation. Pretty groovy.

 

No redoses, it doesn't usually last this long for me and its pretty mild right now but still off baseline.

I was able to sleep for a few hours though, maybe my Serotonin transporters froze or something when I went to sleep and so it just continued from where it left off when I awoke

 

Hell yeah!

 

Another Joseph Campbell tie-in. Anyone ever heard the lecture where he describes the Poker players who were asked to play on a dose of LSD?

The game never started because the poker players were too interested in the designs on the cards. "Aesthetic arrest."

 

When I first discovered LSD, the only playthings I had were music, a matchbox car, playing cards and a cat clock. I was entertained for hours..

 

Unbump or questioned-bump...my buddy I was planning to chill/trip with today is feeling sick so I'm not going over to his place.

Deciding whether I still want to dose anything...probably won't. I don't enjoy tripping at home with my roommates home. Also, my internet here is too slow to watch "Satyagraha" on YouTube, which was GOING to be my trippin' entertainment for the day...

I haven't done any other dissociatives. For me, the MXE experience varies from a fuzzy euphoria to feeling just plain drugged to joy and wonder to kind of ready for it to be over. 30mg gives me a tendency to sit in whatever position I started in. Walking requires concentration (is the floor really that far away?) and I have a high-stepping staggering gait.

I read a long post from someone who had taken 3-4x more than I have (maybe more). I can't imagine.

I was thinking last night, goddam, this is way better than oxy or hydrocodone.

I like MXE, but don't love it. It's something to do when psyches or MDMA aren't on the agenda. It doesn't demand the energy and commitment of psyches or MDMA. Glad to have a few grams on hand.

The new Bassnectar cd leaked too. I'm impressed with it.

The other night on aMT and MXE was so fun. I smoked weed and had about 20mg of aMT and it was perfect to add some extra psychiness to the mxe. I had the most genius idea ever to take a rave shower right as the aMT was peaking and I took another MXE dose.. I cranked Rustie's essential mix that I had never heard and turned on these bright flashing colored lights and hopped in a steamy shower. It was intense and I couldn't stop laughing.
I didn't do anything sexual btw.

 

bump for NOT smoking weed two days in a row. only two days of 2012. i had some pretty psychedelic dreams. well at least it was "psychedelic" the first night. but they were very vivid, which is a normal side effect of not smoking for me.

other than that, i watched most of the 1st matrix. that could be considered psychedelic.

back home now, and got a big ol' bag! :sifone:

what were your previous plans?

i was gonna say something about chocolates but josh (sweet name) beat me to it. i think prolonged heat would degrade the dose, but quick and/or low heat might not be SO bad. i've heard of tea and chocolates both working fabulously well.
